  • The ideal vacation getaway for anytime of the year!

"This cabin was exactly what I needed for my birthday getaway. With 11 of us there, we had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy our own unique adventures! There is nothing like waking up to a morning kayak, hiking at the beautiful Twanoh State Park 15 minutes away, then kayaking during sunset all from the backyard! Enjoying a fire on the shore in January was magical with all the stars out and perfect silence. Dave was readily available leading up to and during our stay to answer questions and make sure we were looked after. We all came back feeling more refreshed than ever, so thank you for providing your house to us. It was one of the best getaways of my life!"

  • Magical spot!

"We absolutely loved our stay. The house is lovely with views of the water from each level and a rocky step path down to the beach. There was plenty of room for two families with two separate kitchens. We all loved watching the boats come in and out and stargazing at night. The park with playground in walking distance was great too and the kids got to meet some of the boat owners since the docks are right there. The house had everything we could possibly need. It has rustic charm but it beautifully maintained and has every modern amenity. We would definitely stay here again and are already trying to decide when we can. Thank you Judy! We loved it!"

  • A perfect Christmas cabin

"Bird lovers beware, you won't want to leave this house! We loved watching and identifying all the species of feathered friends that were always in and near the water, especially at low tide. Bald eagles, egrets, merganser ducks, mallard ducks, bufflehead ducks, pelicans, seagulls, and on and on! And the salmon, so many in the water! Their fins looked like miniature sharks as they swam around spawning. The house itself was very comfortable for three adults. It was clean and well appointed. The kitchen served its purpose well as we prepared Christmas dinner and other meals. We had a hard time keeping away from the large windows that look out onto the stream and woods. We liked the secluded location, it was quiet and very dark at night, we slept well! The open bedrooms did not pose much of a problem as one bed could not see the other. We would definitely return."

  • Darling Romantic Beachfront Getaway

"We had a wonderful 4 night stay at this property. The property is in a gorgeous neighborhood. The owner, Roberta was friendly and helpful. Her house is at the top of the stairs which lead down to the beach house. The house was spotless and had a lovely deck to sit and watch the sunsets with the water lapping at the shore beneath the deck when the tide was in. There were seals in the water swimming by and they were fun to watch. A recent storm had broken the ladder leading down to the water, so we were unfortunately not able to try the kayaks. There are two flights of narrow stairs leading down to the house, so I would not recommend it for anyone who can't negotiate stairs, but it was no problem for us. The property is one block from the Brown's Point Lighthouse where there is a nice park where you can get to the water. The beach is made of large pebbles, not sandy, so it was nice to have the paths there to walk on. We met the lady from the historical society who gave us a tour of the lighthouse-keepers cottage. It was very entertaining and she was very nice and welcoming. Gig Harbor was a short drive (20 minutes) where we spent a nice day riding the trolley, shopping and having lunch. We went to Point Defiance Park which was beautiful and had dinner at Anthony's there. Downtown Seattle was about a 40 min drive. There is a market and a neighborhood diner just around the corner. The Brown's Point Diner had good hamburgers and eggs Benedict for breakfast. We cooked a few breakfasts for ourselves. I would definitely recommend this property to a couple for a romantic getaway. There are two bedrooms, but the living room is small for more than two people. I would definitely go back again if we were to revisit the area."
