"We looked at several homes in the greater Seattle area to rent and we were very happy that we chose this one. We rented the home for five nights. The home was more spacious than we expected. We had four adults and a baby upstairs and one adult and three children in the basement. We spread out in the kitchen/family room, the living room and the patio out back. The home is close to unique restaurants, bars, shops over a two block area. Although these were more suited to the adults, there are local hamburger, pizza, and family restaurants close by. We walked a few blocks each day take the D Line into downtown Seattle so we wouldn't have to worry about parking and traffic. Carrie is very wonderful to work with and willing to accommodate your needs. We would stay here again."

  • Great apartment in Ballard

"We spent a week here in September moving our daughter into SPU. This apartment was exactly what I look for in a short term rental: clean, comfortable, quiet and convenient location. The kitchen was very well stocked and I cannot think of a thing we needed during the week it did not have. My daughter slept well in the sofa bed, hot water was always plentiful and we had plenty of space for all of our luggage and boxes. We were always able to park right in front of the house and it was an easy 3 minute walk to the bus stop on the days we chose not to drive. WiFi was no issue for my husband who had to do a little work each day. I had a couple of questions prior to our trip and Eric responded very quickly and was friendly and accommodating. He even allowed me to ship one of my daughter's textbooks to the house prior to our arrival. We spent time at SPU in Queen Anne, downtown and Northgate and found the location to work well for all three. We ate at Ray's Cafe (beautiful views) based on Eric's recommendation and enjoyed a lovely Italian dinner at Soprano's, both of which I would recommend. I would definitely stay here again."

  • Enjoyed Our Stay

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This townhouse has pros and cons. It has a well appointed, roomy kitchen, dining area with 1/2 bath. The 3 levels worked well for us since there were 5 adults here for a wedding. Ballard was a great location for us. The house was clean, great beds, sheets and towels. Roomy bathrooms. On the negative side, the rugs need to be replaced. They were clean but very stained. There needs to be more light in the upstairs larger bedroom, the 3-way lights only go to the lowest level. The upstairs bedroom would do better with a Queen bed instead of a King since there is little room between the end of the bed and the dresser and no side table on the right side. Also parking in the garage is a challenge but manageable but very difficult on the street. We parked one car on the street and never moved it. We were there for 6 days. All in all the townhouse was a good fit for us and we did enjoy staying there."

  • Will definitely stay at Ballard Sam Sue again!

"Very comfortable property with all amenities including ice maker in refrigerator, high speed internet, iron/ironing board, air mattress w/ built-in electric pump, plenty of linens and towels. Off street parking was easy to navigate for our smaller car (Ford Focus). Didn't have to contact the management for any issues/problems. Located conveniently close to grocery stores (block up from Safeway), gas and I-5. Other than some traffic noise from 85th Street, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend this property for anyone visiting Seattle."
