  • Great apartment in Ballard

"We spent a week here in September moving our daughter into SPU. This apartment was exactly what I look for in a short term rental: clean, comfortable, quiet and convenient location. The kitchen was very well stocked and I cannot think of a thing we needed during the week it did not have. My daughter slept well in the sofa bed, hot water was always plentiful and we had plenty of space for all of our luggage and boxes. We were always able to park right in front of the house and it was an easy 3 minute walk to the bus stop on the days we chose not to drive. WiFi was no issue for my husband who had to do a little work each day. I had a couple of questions prior to our trip and Eric responded very quickly and was friendly and accommodating. He even allowed me to ship one of my daughter's textbooks to the house prior to our arrival. We spent time at SPU in Queen Anne, downtown and Northgate and found the location to work well for all three. We ate at Ray's Cafe (beautiful views) based on Eric's recommendation and enjoyed a lovely Italian dinner at Soprano's, both of which I would recommend. I would definitely stay here again."

  • Great place for a family get together

"I live in Seattle, but I needed a larger place to accommodate eight of us for Thanksgiving. Carrie's place was perfect. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well equipped (we made dinner for 10 and really had everything we needed except for the food). There is a grill out back, but we didn't use it. The two bedrooms up stairs are quite spacious (note: they share a bathroom); the downstairs bedrooms are smaller but quite comfortable. There's a sofa in the living room that could sleep an extra person if needed. Carrie was excellent to work with. She made the process easy and returned txts and emails promptly. Good neighborhood. Everything you "need" is walking distance. Everything you might "want" is a short drive or bus ride away. Downtown and Capitol Hill take a little longer, especially during rush hour. .I'll definitely stay here again, or put my family up here when they come up to visit."

  • Clean, quiet and spacious... perfect for our family

"Our family of six adults was able to spread out and relax comfortably in this town home on a cozy, quiet street in Ballard. The amenities met or exceeded our expectations. It was nice to find that some staples were provided like hand soap, trash bags, coffee filters, laundry supplies and plenty of towels (bath and kitchen). The radio (already tuned to NPR) was a nice touch. We really appreciated the off-street parking space that came with the rental. This is an attached unit but we never heard a sound from the neighbors. The owner was available immediately to help us when we had a question. We were happy to discover a supermarket and coffee shops very nearby. The walkability was fantastic. We enjoyed excellent restaurants (Moshi Moshi Sushi, The Other Coast Cafe, Miro Tea, Hot Cakes, Java Bean Coffee, Ballard Bros. Seafood and Mighty-O Donuts) and entertainment (The Ballard Locks, Stash Pot Shop {hey, it's legal here}, The Noble Fir) without leaving the area. Ballard is a small town with a big sparkle. When we wanted to go downtown we found the RapidRide bus to be an easy and affordable commute. This is a home and a location I would return to."

  • Clean, Comfortable, Convenient

"We were certainly pleased with our accommodation at Treat House and would definitely consider staying there again. It was quiet, private, and clean. The queen bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the coffee maker and small refrigerator. Our thanks, Gail and Bob"
