  • Great!!

"Stayed here for 2 nights with my husband in early November. Wanted a different experience other than a hotel. It was great! Location great - walking distance to a few bars/restaurants! Bed super comfy! Place was clean! Manager, Debra, was extremely friendly and easy to work with. Her communication was more than prompt!"

  • Great place for a family get together

"I live in Seattle, but I needed a larger place to accommodate eight of us for Thanksgiving. Carrie's place was perfect. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well equipped (we made dinner for 10 and really had everything we needed except for the food). There is a grill out back, but we didn't use it. The two bedrooms up stairs are quite spacious (note: they share a bathroom); the downstairs bedrooms are smaller but quite comfortable. There's a sofa in the living room that could sleep an extra person if needed. Carrie was excellent to work with. She made the process easy and returned txts and emails promptly. Good neighborhood. Everything you "need" is walking distance. Everything you might "want" is a short drive or bus ride away. Downtown and Capitol Hill take a little longer, especially during rush hour. .I'll definitely stay here again, or put my family up here when they come up to visit."

  • Clean, quiet and spacious... perfect for our family

"Our family of six adults was able to spread out and relax comfortably in this town home on a cozy, quiet street in Ballard. The amenities met or exceeded our expectations. It was nice to find that some staples were provided like hand soap, trash bags, coffee filters, laundry supplies and plenty of towels (bath and kitchen). The radio (already tuned to NPR) was a nice touch. We really appreciated the off-street parking space that came with the rental. This is an attached unit but we never heard a sound from the neighbors. The owner was available immediately to help us when we had a question. We were happy to discover a supermarket and coffee shops very nearby. The walkability was fantastic. We enjoyed excellent restaurants (Moshi Moshi Sushi, The Other Coast Cafe, Miro Tea, Hot Cakes, Java Bean Coffee, Ballard Bros. Seafood and Mighty-O Donuts) and entertainment (The Ballard Locks, Stash Pot Shop {hey, it's legal here}, The Noble Fir) without leaving the area. Ballard is a small town with a big sparkle. When we wanted to go downtown we found the RapidRide bus to be an easy and affordable commute. This is a home and a location I would return to."

  • Clean and comfortable

"Once again we enjoyed our stay in one of these properties. Ballard Samantha was just as nice as Ballard Sam Sue ( I think that's the right name). A little smaller but still perfect for a couple. Very comfy bed. It's nice to have off street parking available. Will stay there again!"
