  • Great Location, quite and well appointed!

"We were in town for a wedding so loved the central location. Everything was just as described, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, much more so than usual rentals. We really appreciated that so many things like coffee, sugar etc. were already stocked. Wonderful, quaint neighborhood, we hope to return some time when we are not so busy with a wedding."

  • Family stay at the beach house...

"Charming rustic cottage with all the amenities right of the water. Amazing views of Elliot Bay with ship traffic, Mt Ranier, Bainbridge Island, Olympic Peninsula, and a portion of Downtown Seattle minus the Space Needle. Access to rocky shoreline when tide is out. Upper deck and lower concrete patio with ample room for all right on the water. View of the water from all rooms. Floral bouquet greeted us. Fully furnished residence, clean linens and towels. William, our host, was gracious, friendly, helpful, and responsive via phone, text, and e-mail. Visitors need only bring food and beverages. The lower level of the home is clean yet musty, (perhaps to be expected for the location). Small parking spot for one vehicle, we had a minivan and had people exit before parking. Solid steps leading down to residence which were lit at night, about twenty-five steps total (one person in our party is over seventy and carefully managed the stairs just fine). Fifteen minute drive to Downtown Seattle, less that five to Magnolia. All were happy with our stay. We would not hesitate to book the residence again. Happy travels, Phil & Elizabeth MacColl Huss"

  • Great vacation spot

"We really enjoyed our stay at this home, the photo of the water does not do it justice, we really enjoyed watching the boats, the bridge, the birds, the sea lions. Great location too, close to town and easy commute. Owner had lots of great information provided, home was very clean when we arrived, beds comfortable, great floor plan. There were 5 of us and 1 bath was adequate, no problems with parking while we were there. Walked down to watch how the locks worked, really entertaining, saw a huge yacht go thru and really enjoyed it. Gina is not kidding about the boat parade, everything from fishing boats to small sail boats and barges go by. We visited Pikes market and bought the city pass, we really enjoyed all activities. Seattle is a clean and easy city to traverse. We also purchased tickets to the laser light show and that was our only mistake! Gina was responsive to all of my emails and easy to work with. The train noise mentioned in other reviews was not a problem if you keep windows closed."

  • Beautiful and Peaceful House

"We rented this house a few days prior to leaving Seattle on a cruise to Alaska. Two couples joined us. The house was PERFECT! We all wanted to stay longer. Each couple had their privacy with a comfortable bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen and gathering areas were spacious and beautifully furnished. We loved the neighborhood and enjoyed daily walks along the sound and up and down many hills (great exercise). The Magnolia village stores and restaurants were close and convenient, and downtown Seattle was a short drive away. We were able to see Mt. Ranier, the sound, and snow capped mountains from our bedroom balcony, and the space needle from the rear balcony. We are from the east coast and especially enjoyed the fresh air sans humidity!"
