  • Perfect size, amenities and, above all, location

"This is our second experience with a place found through VRBO/HomeAway in the Capitol Hill area and it was much, much better than the first. Stephen and Mark have made this apartment into a really nice place with all the amenities and appliances, particularly the washer/dryer, that you could want. The location can't be better: easy walking distance to all the great coffee shops and restaurants along 15th (particular shout-outs to our favourites Cafe Ladro and Coastal Kitchen), two supermarkets (QFC and Safeway) and a short jaunt from Volunteer Park. As we came with our young son, we didn't really make use of public transit, relying on our car but downtown is easy to access either way. Minor complaints: a) poor WiFi connection (kept dropping on and off, no matter where we were in the apartment; b) noise from the stairs leading to the upper apartments was particularly annoying, especially when the family left at 5 AM without making any attempt to be quiet. Overall though, a great experience! We'll be coming back soon and staying at one of the upper apartments - looking forward to it (and will try not to make too much noise either)."

  • Lucky Find

"We looked at several homes in the greater Seattle area to rent and we were very happy that we chose this one. We rented the home for five nights. The home was more spacious than we expected. We had four adults and a baby upstairs and one adult and three children in the basement. We spread out in the kitchen/family room, the living room and the patio out back. The home is close to unique restaurants, bars, shops over a two block area. Although these were more suited to the adults, there are local hamburger, pizza, and family restaurants close by. We walked a few blocks each day take the D Line into downtown Seattle so we wouldn't have to worry about parking and traffic. Carrie is very wonderful to work with and willing to accommodate your needs. We would stay here again."

  • Great location for Seattle U and if like a walking to the Market as much as we do!

"The main floor apartment was very nice -- bright, light, clean. It was a good value, and for our needs, perfectly located. We could walk to campus, to my workout studio (Barre 3), coffee shops. We love to walk, so we were not intimidated by the walk to/from Market. We will definitely try to stay here again, but may choose level 2 or 3 to see something different and not hear the people above."

  • Excellent Casita!

"I am not sure how you can get a better vacation space than this little treasure. High ceilings, excellent layout, fully equipped, quiet. We have rented this unit several times in the past, and it is truly the best. I highly recommend it. Enjoy!"
