  • Week stay for a wedding with 8 guests

"This was a good home. The owner was great to work with and responsive. There was plenty of blankets and towels and other necessities and the directions were easy to find and use. Wifi was great. And the best part was the back porch with an absolutely amazing view, a grill and a hot tub! One of the highlights of our trip. The main floor rooms were comfortable however two of the bedrooms are in the basement and the set up is quite awkward - you need to walk through one bedroom to get to the other (aka the "in law suite"). The bathroom in the basement is also very awkward again because you need to walk through it and there are three different doors that access it. The toilet is not usable for guys really since it is lifted and the ceiling is low. Overall the whole house was great except the basement. The location was also great- a mile away from groceries and dinner and also a nice run to east lake and the zoo! Would definitely stay here again now that we understand the basement situation- maybe with less people."

  • Very comfortable apartment in great neighborhood

"My husband and I really enjoyed our stay at Harrison Modern. It has a spacious open floor plan and a big window in the living room with a great view. The kitchen and bathroom were very well-stocked, including things you don't expect like shampoo, coffee and coffee filters. There are plenty of good restaurants and coffee shops nearby. If the weather had been better we would have enjoyed using the deck outside the living room."

  • Great location, wonderfully responsive owners, amazingly comfortable

"When we retired, our goal was to travel for two years, using VRBO in multiple cities around the country. Our plans were cut short by two months because of aging parents in Minnesota who needed some help. One of the places we didn't get to go, but intended to, was Seattle. Now, we've made it! While there are numerous places to rent in this city, this was the only one that met absolutely all our criteria, not the least of which was the amazing location right on Alaskan Way across from the aquarium, the Great Wheel, the piers, and the cruise ship terminal. The incredible bonus - right under Pike Place Market with elevator access straight into the market from a parking garage less than a block away. The front desk manager was most welcoming and was very helpful in our receiving mail and packages while there (if you need to get mail or packages, the owner will tell you how they must be addressed). The condo itself was very comfortable and was sparkling clean. The air conditioner in the living room did a commendable job and the owner installed a bedroom air conditioner while we were there. Happy, happy, happy. The living room faces the water with amazing views of Puget Sound. Sadly, when we were there, there was scaffolding outside the windows as the building exterior was undergoing renovation. That will go away soon - and it only partially blocked our view. LOVE being able to sit on the sofa watching the ferries go back and forth, not to mention the huge cargo ships that lumber by. The kitchen is nicely laid out. The stove was amazing. There is plenty of cupboard space for whatever supplies you might bring. Most essentials are already present courtesy of the owner and/or previous guests leaving non-perishables as they depart. The shower is huge with both a wall-mount/handheld head and a rain shower overhead. The vanity area has two sinks, which is great when two of you need to get ready at the same time. Underground parking with steel grate roll-up doors that are remote controlled keep your car safe and dry. And, the people who live in the building that you meet coming and going are all friendly and personable. One of the nicest features was the inclusion of a full size stacking washer and dryer. Not many units do that anymore. During the course of our stay, we had one or two minor needs that were attended to by the owners immediately. Would we stay in this condo again when visiting Seattle? In a heartbeat!!"

  • Beautiful stay in West Seattle

"We had a great stay at this home. The property was very clean, all updated and very well kept. The owner, Claire, was very responsive, friendly and organized. Everything was as expected. The home is a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath, with a 4th bedroom used as an exercise room. The downstairs has a beautiful kitchen with nice applicances. Also, first floor is all hardwood flooring. Property is located in quiet area of West Seattle and within a mile of restaurants, shops, and grocery store. Eash access to downtown Seattle (without traffic it is about 15 minutes and with traffic could be 30 minutes or so). I hope to stay again at this property in the future!"
