  • Paradise Gem

"My daughters and I did a ride trip and Seattle was our final destination. When we arrived, the owner, Kathy greeted us and was so welcoming and kind. She showed us the place and it was like paradise, just magical. We were in awe of the beauty, the lake and the gorgeous flowers that Kathy does herself. The pictures do no justice, it is breath taking in person. The house has everything you can possibly need, from TV, kitchen utensils, towels, etc. Kathy and Todd are so awesome and I truly enjoyed our conversations. Thank you Kathy and Todd for opening up your home and being so kind to me and my daughters. We had amazing lovely vacation. This place is a Gem."

  • Great location!

"Close enough to downtown Seattle and the airport but you never feel that close! It was perfect for my husband and I."

  • Great place for family get together

"Eight of us stayed for four nights in June. We greatly enjoyed the open floor plan kitchen/dining/living rooms. Works so well for a large group. We also greatly enjoyed the covered deck when it inevitably rained. We bought fresh fish, steaks and chicken and grilled it up on the large grill on the deck and loved it, tho we had to clean the grates first. The owner was easy to work with and communicate with and VERY promptly refunded the damage deposit. The owner provided great directions for the semi-hard to find street access. The parking spots were very ample for our three cars, but if you want to park four cars, they better be real small cars. One warning: there are a lot of stairs in the house, due to its hillside location -- not suitable for toddlers or elderly. And, one suggestion: we suggest the owner supply some new coffee cups. With a large group, it's actually nice to have mis-matched cups so everyone knows their cup. But there were not enough cups for eight people. We will probably be back in two years for the next nephew's graduation."

  • Ideal location, beautiful property

"This is the first vacation home rental we've ever done, and we lucked out. We were looking for a comfortable place to stay with easy access to downtown Seattle. This is in a perfect location - a three minute walk to the light rail station, with free parking for your car as an added bonus. The place is beautifully decorated and maintained, and is very clean. You even get your cleaning fee back for doing a few simple things before checking out. The owner is very friendly and communicates very promptly. She even invited us to a party she was having upstairs during our stay (it ended up that we couldn't make it, but what a nice gesture!)."
