  • Beautiful, well kept home

"The Italian Villa was perfect for our group of 10 family members, with plenty of space to relax, comfortable and well-appointed beds and lots of bathrooms with plenty of towels. The owner was great to work with from start to finish and she promptly responded to our one minor issue (one of the dishwashers didn't appear to be working and Cheryl quickly diagnosed the problem and resolved it). The location is great for those flying in and out of Seatac and it's easy to reach downtown and other locations in the area. The kitchen had a great selection of spices and pots and pans, and an awesome stove. The house exceeded our expectations and worked out terrifically!"

  • Lovely spot

"This is a beautiful, elegantly simple house with an amazing deck. As someone said, the deck is the star. Viewing the changing tides and the bird and wildlife from here is worth staying there, seriously. The house is well equipped, very comfortable and well-cared for, aesthetically pleasing. The property manager was very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I would go back and stay there again if in the area. 2 caveats, though. The house design is very open, with no real separation between bedrooms, and it has one small bath to be shared. This might not work for a group. The two single beds are also meant for children, as they are short. Lastly, it is somewhat remote. If you think you are visiting Gig Harbor and walking around town, know that it is about 15 minutes away, on the freeway. There is no place to walk to for anything that we found, like coffee or groceries. Having said that, it is a unique property, well worth the trip."

  • Great view!

"We stayed 4 nights here - it has an awesome view of Lake Washington! A few things that we were unaware of - if the owners are home, they live in a small area below the main part of the house. The third bedroom is downstairs along with a small rec room with a pool table, next to the owners door to their small apartment. But there was no bathroom down there - a problem for anyone sleeping in the lower room. Rebecca, the property manager, was wonderful and very accommodating!"
