  • Alki-Sound, the perfect place to stay

"We found Alki-Sound to be absolutely perfect for us. Just a short walking distance to our family's home. For those who love to do some walking, you can walk to Alaska Junction or Admiral and California Ave for all sorts of dining and shopping. The property had everything we needed, and everything was in great condition. Quiet, with great views. I would love to stay there again if the opportunity comes up on their calendar of openings."

  • A Perfect Fit!

"This home was a wonderful place for our family of 10 to stay during our reunion with others in Seattle. Although there were 10 of us, there was plenty of room and we each had our own space as well as areas to be together whether it was for dining or playing games. It is a beautiful, spacious home and was nicely situated close to Alki Beach. We also found it easy to get to other parts of Seattle from there. The property was very clean and well maintained."

  • Great house in great location

"Our family of 6 (including a 13 year old and a 74 year old) recently stayed. This house was great for everyone! It was nice to be able to unpack in the spacious walk-in closets for our 9 day trip. It's only a 15 minute drive from downtown, and right by grocery stores, beaches/parks, the Vashon Island ferry, and lots of good resturants. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The 2 bathrooms were wonderful for showers. More towel rods in the upstairs hall bathroom would have been nice, but otherwise, the bathrooms were great. They ask you to remove shoes, but provide you with nice slippers. There were plenty of towels, sheets, blankets, extra pillows, etc. The pillows were a bit flat, so I ended up sleeping on 3, but because of the extras, it was a minor thing. If you want to cook, there are plenty of appliances and pots/pans. We never did cook, but we did pick up from a resturant and had breakfast everyday in our kitchen. We never ran out of plates/cups. The TV was great, too, and even featured surround sound. All of the furniture was really comfortable and the decor was nice. I highly reccomend this house!"

  • Charming, lovely.

"My daughter, son-in-law and I just returned from spending 2 nights at the Carriage House. The accommodations, though compact, are delightful; fiestaware dishes! I spent both nights on the hide-a-bed and was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was. Everything is clean, like brand-new, and the provisions were plentiful. The big house and yard were extremely lovely and the hostess very warm and welcoming. The views of the water and Mount Rainier, are very pleasing. I would not only recommend staying here; I hope to return myself."
