  • Roomy & spacious for all.

"This home was very convenient to downtown Seattle. We had a great time seeing all the sites & loved being so close to everything. The home had a bedroom for each of us with plenty of room to accommodate our family of 9. Kitchen was stocked nicely with everything you would need. Owners are great to work with. Thanks for a great time."

"We have had two separate long stays- totaling around 7 months- in this cozy and well-located home, while in-between homes and travel destinations. This is an immaculate property and vacation rental which is comfortable for 1-2 people. We really loved the high quality appliances- which are hard to find in many vacation rentals, comfortable bed, wonderful bathroom with heated floor, plush towels, great shower, lovely garden view to enjoy without having to do the gardening. We cooked most of our meals in this kitchen very comfortably while there. The hosts are extremely helpful, responsive, and accommodating. They are just upstairs, but really gave us absolute privacy. (And enjoyable conversation when the occasion arose). There were occasional sounds of footsteps from upstairs, but I think that the plan to add carpeting should alleviate this. West Seattle has a lovely quiet neighborhood feel, but just a 5 minute walk will take you to the bus stop for a fast and direct trip to downtown Seattle, Pike Place Market, downtown West Seattle, etc. Maybe a 6 minute walk will take you to the ferry dock, where you can walk or drive onto a ferry to one of the islands. There's also Lincoln Park just down the hill- right on the edge of Puget Sound- a place we walked to and hiked around many times while there. If ever in the nomading mode again in the future, we would not hesitate to return to this place."

  • Just book it!

"If you have been eyeing this place, do yourself a favor and just book it now! You will not regret it. The view is unbelievable, and the place is practically brand new. More than enough room with 2 bedrooms, a very spacious living room, and oh did I mention the patio with the million dollar view?! You will also not find better people in Roger and Kathleen. Extremely nice, lightning quick on getting back to you on any requests you may need, and just all around good hearted people. Total privacy when sitting out on the patio, as the neighbors on each side cannot see you. Don't sweat the street parking, I was there for a week and parked right in front of the house almost every single night. I cannot wait to go back for another visit! Thank you Roger and Kathleen!"
