  • Beautiful stay in West Seattle

"We had a great stay at this home. The property was very clean, all updated and very well kept. The owner, Claire, was very responsive, friendly and organized. Everything was as expected. The home is a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath, with a 4th bedroom used as an exercise room. The downstairs has a beautiful kitchen with nice applicances. Also, first floor is all hardwood flooring. Property is located in quiet area of West Seattle and within a mile of restaurants, shops, and grocery store. Eash access to downtown Seattle (without traffic it is about 15 minutes and with traffic could be 30 minutes or so). I hope to stay again at this property in the future!"

  • Beautiful home; awesome location!

"Where to start? This house is amazing and I really appreciate the effort they put in to the inside/outside décor and landscaping. The decking in the back leading from the ground level to the main floor is beautifully done and really sets this home apart from the neighboring homes and other rentals in the area. The owners have continued this effort on the interior. The decorating accessories are unique and many harken to the beach house feel while antique and period furniture fit right in with the Craftsman architecture of the home. The beds were so comfortable and the neighborhood quiet. The kitchen offered all the amenities of home. The living area was comfortable and relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The Hot Tub was a nice bonus, too! The bottom floor living area and bedroom were just as enjoyable. This home also has a washer and dryer which was nice for a long stay. It was approximately 4 miles to Downtown Seattle and a quick drive for us to get to all the sites. You get the benefit of being away from the downtown hustle and bustle but the benefit of a short drive in. Alki beach is walking distance and has an array of restaurants right on the don't have to go in to the city to get great food. I recommend El Chupacabra for tacos and drinks on the beach and Luna Park Café a short distance away for breakfast. The owners notified us ahead of time on how to get in to the home and made it clear they would be available to us, but I had no need to call them in the week we were there. I cannot think of a single thing to complain about here. I feel like they really went the extra mile with their décor inside and out and that coupled with the comfort of the house puts this at the top of the list of VRBO rentals I have stayed in and I would highly encourage anyone considering a visit to Seattle to look in to renting this home."

  • Pleasant, spacious apartment in West Seattle's North Delridge area

"While we didn't have much time to spend at the apartment during our recent stay, we found it to be very comfortable and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. An assortment of books and games provided would be fun for children. The location is near the West Seattle bridge in a neighborhood that appears to be in transition, but felt safe. The apartment is not in the heart of West Seattle, but has easy access by car or longer walk to main West Seattle hotspots. It would be very easy to access the bridge into downtown Seattle. We would stay here again."

  • The best view with all the comforts of home

"We loved our time here at Theresa's rental. The home was very clean and situated right above the waters edge. The kitchen is well stocked and there is some chairs and a table outside song with a nice grill. The living room looks directly out over the water and has a fireplace (gas) which is lovely. The kitchen is well stocked. The tv room is quite comfortable, and the the bed in the master room was super comfortable. There is an upstairs apartment which ended up being rented for 5 of our 16 days. It was incredibly loud when they walked around. Son happened they were up late and early... I do not think they were loud people , i think it was perhaps poorly insulted. It was super quiet the rest of the time. The price is high (compared to other entire homes we have rented in Alki) but the location, privacy and waterfront should hold their weight. Glad to have spent time here. What an awesome location... and photographers dream."
