  • Quaint apt in a perfect location

"We loved it!! Walking distance to the market and space needle. The owners gave great recommendations to bars & restaurants around the area. Safe & secure for 2 females."

  • Great view, great plan, 5 people fit perfect

"The only cons for us were the check in (to late) and the smell of the appartment (like indian food). Everything else just great and as advertised"

  • Nice, but needs some fine tuning

"Overall, I liked the place. It was clean pleasant and nicely furnished, bed was comfortable, there were plenty of towels etc and the kitchen was well furnished. I was in Seattle for work for two weeks and the location is quiet and provided an easy commute. It also had a very nice backyard and it would be great for the two weeks of summer Seattle gets every year :-). Now for the things I didn't like. None were deal breakers, but did detract at varying levels from the overall experience. I should add that I think I was the first VRBO tenant and it looked like the owner may have been the last occupant and maybe left before getting everything totally in order. The TV is located in the bedroom. I want to do my TV watching in the living room. I rarely, if ever watch TV in the bedroom at home. Second, there is no cable. The only program source is HULU streaming TV and little of the subscribed content was of any interest. Watching the NFL playoffs the next day wasn't very interesting plus I like local news and weather that are useful to me for planning, etc. Have to give the TV one star at best. The lone bedroom closet had boxes of old clothes stacked about 5' high and a single hanger, which would have been useless anyhow as the boxes came to within 18" of the hanging rod. There was no chest of drawers or any thing to put clothes in. Welcome to horizontal clothes storage. I used all the horizontal surfaces I could find. It worked for me, but I'm a sloppy guy. Would have to grade that as an epic fail. When I arrived the freezer was jammed full of ice and frozen food and an unopened bottle of vodka. I couldn't get a thing in. I got rid of all the ice, but was the rest the owner's or previous resident? I don't mind using or tossing if it was a previous tenant who left it, but there was no indication, so was a bit stuck. The washing machine dial is broken and needs to be fixed. There are handwritten instructions on how to make it work, but that method will strip the gears on the washing machine as you can't disengage the clutch while rotating it. A fix will be cheaper than a new washing machine. Last, a few coffee filters on hand would be nice. Two keys would be great too. I accidentally locked myself out and it cost $200 to get a locksmith out. Use only the deadbolt not the knob lock to avoid this, regardless of instructions. A spare in the box would be great. Overall, liked it and would stay again. I think I was the shakedown cruise, so to speak."
