  • Best Rest Ever!

"Did you ever go home from a vacation exhausted when you should have been rejuvenated? I promise you this will not happen to you in this home. Grandparents had perfect quiet bedroom and private bathroom downstairs while kids and grandkids had two bedrooms (which sleep 4 in one with two Q's and 2 in the other Q) and Jack and Jill full bath between them. We took great day trips and yet relaxed on the over 2 acres with bocce ball, badminton, tetherball, volleyball and riding bikes and yet later sipping wine while watching the eagles fly over head. It is the quietest home we have ever rented and will be back!"

  • Perfect family getaway

"We stayed at this place in early October which means rainy season, but with the house's many large windows (including skylights in the upstairs bedroom), we were able to watch the storms over the water from a very peaceful, relaxing, and warm house. The rain on the skylights upstairs made for an incredibly soothing night's sleep as well, but also offered a great natural way to wake up as the sun came over the trees in the morning. The gas fireplace was perfect for curling up to next to a book, and our dogs loved the fact they could go out in the front yard and run around for a bit. In the morning we were able to go to not one, but two different beaches at low tide (look at the map - you're half a block away in two directions from two different sides of the island) and pick sand dollars, look for crabs, and enjoy the sunrises. From this place, you're about a 10 minute drive from the infamous Vashon Island lighthouse on one side, and a 10 minute drive from the town of Vashon on the other, depending if you like to hike around or shop. We had six people in the house and it still felt plenty big. We cooked up a storm and the kitchen was very well stocked with all of the utensils, pots, pans, beer and wine openers you could ever need, and the grill worked great. Highly recommend, would definitely stay again!"

  • A lovely and peaceful home.

"The home on Camano Island was exactly as described. Myself and 4 other woman stayed here while exploring the area, hiking, kayaking and relaxing and dining on seafood. Loved all the ways to just sit and enjoy the view! I would stay again in a heartbeat."

  • Lovely, quiet, and spacious, this property was even better than I had hoped.

"My husband, daughter, and I stayed for a few days before another daughter's wedding. The wedding venue was the zoo, so the location was perfect. We ran along Phinney every morning and found wonderful coffee afterward. We sat on the patio in the yard and enjoyed the quiet and shaded neighborhood. The two-bedroom, one-bath set-up worked well for us. Outside the bathroom is a lovely space with counter and windows that provided room for all those bathroom accessories. Aurora also made downtown and Capital Hill easily accessible (the other places our visit included). We felt like we were living out of town but could immediately be in town."
