"Location, Location, Location!!! Walk everywhere....Aquarium, All Piers for Ferry's (Including San Juan Ferry's, about a 20 minute..easy walk), Pike Place Market...moments away....Seattle Great Sky Wheel, just down the stairs.....Seattle Space Needle...walk right up to Monorail, and it takes you to the foot of the Needle....Foodies! This is your place....every type of food is within a few minute walk, and so are several grocery stores, drug stores, Shopping Galore! etc....etc...etc....I could go on and on and on! No need for a car if you stay here. We did rent a car for 1 day to do the Boeing Factory Tour in Everett, WA (30 Minute drive) Highly recommend! We had a water view with balcony! STUNNING....watched ferry's, sail boats, go by! Sunsets were beautiful! We rented a 2 bedroom/2 bath, very comfortable. Well equipped, furninture a little scratched and worn, but nothing of concern! The sunset patio that is available for use has 2 very nice (very new) grills (We purchased Seafood at Pikes and grilled a night in...really nice to be able to do that) The patio furniture on the sunset deck is very nice as well, and the view is great! I would not look further! We were very happy with this property, and will stay again!"

"We loved our stay, the place is very clean and spacious. It's also located nicely in Tacoma and easily accessible to everything. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone. :)"

  • Fantastic location!

"Spent a long weekend in the Seattle area and this property met all our needs. Very easy to walk to some of the best restaurants, coffee shops and speakeasys. Pike place is a short walk down the hill and we used Uber if we weren't up to exploring the city up hill. The apartment itself is very comfortable, clean and has everything we needed. The washer/dryer combo was a plus for light packers. The bedrooms got a little stuffy at night, but we quickly figured that out with the fans and opened windows. The city noise wasn't that bad, but we are also pretty easy travelers. We took advantage of reserving the parking space in the garage. That was a huge plus and convenience since we drove to Seattle and wanted our car to be off the street. The building itself was also very quiet. Hardly heard or saw anyone. We would stay here again and loved the Capitol Hill area because of all it has to offer us. Seattle is just a fun city, but we did take advantage of staying in one night and had pizza delivered and utilized the tv. A great stay and the owners were super easy to get ahold of when I had questions."

  • A good week at Brown's Point

"Browns Point Lighthouse & cottage have their rightful place in history. My sister and I learned about Owen & Anna from the many articles, books & photos in the cottage. Our bedrooms were well-appointed as was the rest of the house. It's like stepping back in time, but with a Mr Coffee and a DVD player under your arm. With a market , coffee hut & two really good restaurants very nearby , this is a good location for unwinding, My only other comments are that I wish we'd been greeted with the beds fully made instead of having to make them ourselves. Washing the sheets after we used them and then making the beds for the next guests would be ok with me.. I just would have felt more welcomed initially with things in " ship shape." Caution needs to be used on the steps into the cottage's garden. They are shallow & steep. Our hostess was very helpful and good humored. All in all we enjoyed seven days playing keepers of the light."
