  • Overall fits our needs well but.....

"As a fall/winter renter we really miss having the wood stove operational. It hasn't worked for the last two years."

  • Beautiful Lodge Retreat!

"On a recent work trip, where lodging options were limited, we decided to live locally for our stay...so happy we made this decision! The property alone is beautiful and the hosts were so gracious, welcoming, and couldn't have been nicer (they even left marinating salmon in the refrigerator for us!). The home is well-equipped and featured a chef's kitchen, that we enjoyed making breakfast and dinner in. Having only WiFi was perfect for our work and music needs. This home is truly a retreat and was so much fun and such a postivie experience! The views do NOT disappoint. Watching the sunrise and wildlife (deer, ducks, eagles), with a cup of coffee in hand, was something you can't get at a hotel chain. Thank you Chad and Grace for a wonderful experience and welcoming us into your home! We can't wait to come back later in the summer!"

  • Beautiful place on the River

"This was our first stay at Flatwater Landing and hopefully will not be our last! It is a beautiful, quiet place with a nice private beach on a nice part of the river. It is perfect for waterskiing, jetskiing and just swimming right off the dock. The house does have an interesting layout, but there is lots of room in the house and on the grounds. We paid to have our extended family park their motorhome next to the house and it was perfect for this use. We ate outside most every night using the nice outdoor furniture and bbq provided, played croquet and volleyball on the lawn, and enjoyed the lakeside firepit most evenings. When a bad storm blew up one night the buoy provided was perfect for our boat. Cabin was clean, well equipped and the owner was easy to deal with and it is obvious that they take good care of this property. The only drawback was that the main part of the living space (kitchen, living room and 2 of 3 bedrooms) are up steep stairs and made for a lot of up and down - but that is minor! One of the nicest rentals in the Sandpoint area!"

  • Simply Lovely!

"Our stay at the Old Sacheen Lake Resort was just lovely. The house is clean and cute and there were so many things to do outside. We loved the fire pit down by the lake, and we even saw a bald eagle right out the front window. It is in a beautiful location and we are already looking forward to our next visit!"
