  • Clean, nice, everything you need for a comfortable stay that feels like home.

"I've been some VRBOs that are bare bones, without paper towels, etc. This one is the opposite. Was happy to find everything I needed to live like I was at home- from spices to coffee, a radio, laundry detergent. The apartment had its own washer dryer combo inside the unit. Comfortable and quality bed and bedding. Benches on the front and back porch were welcoming. There is a small fenced backyard with nice landscaping. I stayed for 4 weeks and anytime I had a question, the owner always got right back to me. People live in the unit above and they were never loud. The only drawback to the whole place was that you can hear a little bit of traffic from I-5, but the radio and white noise device drowned it out so I stopped noticing it. Found some nice trails to walk on nearby. There was also a Fred Meyers and Whole Foods down the street. I was very happy here and will be coming back!"

  • Peaceful, Private, Perfect Hideaway

"This was our second visit to the Chuckanut Hideaway and it won't be our last! It is the perfect blend of quiet and peaceful while being close to the city of Bellingham for great restaurants, parks and shopping. The Hideaway is cozy, clean and modern with spectacular views of Chuckanut Bay. Although it is a studio, there is plenty of room - comfortable bed, large modern bathroom (complete with a porthole to capture the views) and great furniture on which to spend the afternoon reading and relaxing. Although the kitchen has no oven or stovetop it is well stocked and convenient for preparing light meals and/or snacks. Fairhaven restaurants and coffee shops are just a short drive down the road for larger meals. The small porch is the perfect spot for coffee in the morning or wine in the evening while watching the sunset. So sorry we missed you again this year, Howard!"

  • Beautiful little cabin on Lake Whatcom.

"We loved this place. The views from the picture windows were to die for! The kitchen was very well equipped and spacious. It is a very livable floor plan. The beds were very comfortable as were the leather lounging chairs in the main room. Although we didn't use the fire pit on the lake it was very cute and a great space to hang out on the lake. It is very small but all we needed. If you don't mind sharing 1 bathroom, this is a must stay VRBO!"
