  • Great Location, Lovely Remodel

"This is a lovely remodeled property within easy walking distance of downtown Fairhaven. It was spacious and clean and had all the kitchen equipment we needed. The bed linens and towels were good quality. The deck off the kitchen is a nice size and faces the alley. You can see the mountains but not the ocean from the deck. The bedrooms are on the main floor and the kitchen and living room are upstairs. If stairs are a problem for you I would recommend a different rental property. Communication with the owner was quick and easy and our security deposit was returned promptly. I would be happy to stay here again."

  • Modern studio in the heart of Bellingham

"We had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in central Bellingham, including a view of the working waterfront from the front window and the patio. The unit is walking distance to the organic food coop, restaurants, coffee shops, walking trail, etc. It's very quiet and private, too, which is surprising for this location. I would recommend this to anyone with two caveats: the unit is accessible by more than a full flight of stairs, and sometimes you can hear the train whistle. I was bothered by it on our first night there, but either I got used to it, or it wasn't as loud on the remaining two nights because I didn't even hear it."

  • Wonderful Home with View of Whatcom Lake

"We stayed at Hummingbird Haven for eight days in February. This is a beautiful home/villa that is nicely furnished and decorated. Everything you need for your stay is available including cooking pots and pans, dishes, etc. Even a popcorn wagon can be used for an indoor "night at the movies". Several hummingbird feeders are strategically placed around the exterior of the house where you can observe the birds feeding almost anytime of the day. What a pleasant place to stay. We will stay here again when we visit family in Bellingham."

  • A wonderful house with a stunning view of Chuckanut Bay and the San Juan Islands beyond.

"The house is an excellent place for a family gathering in a spectacular setting. It is especially suitable for a family that likes to cook and have meals together as the kitchen is large and well set up. There is also an excellent restaurant nearby--the Oyster Bar--perhaps the best in the area. If you like oysters, a visit to the Taylor oyster farm nearby is also special. For hikers the nearby Chuckanut trails have great views out over the islands. Parking along Chuckanut Drive is a challenge if you have more than the two cars that will fit in the garage, but that is a minor drawback as once inside the house the feeling is of arrival in a private sanctuary."
