  • great space in glacier

"house was big, felt bigger than the photos, which seemed big to me. Great space for 7 snowboarders to eat and sleep between days at Mt Baker. There were no coffee filters, and while the kitchen is awesome, there wasn't quite the right collection of pots and pans for cooking a meal large enough for the crew we had. It was a bit of a struggle each night to cook in quantity. Bring Salt and Pepper. this is pretty clear in the description if you read it, which I did, but we all still forgot to bring salt and pepper. And Coffee filters, the bowl shape, not the more triangular. We could not get the Sauna to work, seemed overly complicated, took us 20 minutes to find the indoor light switch that let us power it up, then couldn't get it to stay on long enough to heat past 50 deg. It kept shutting off when we weren't looking. But this place is nice, clean, and big. Plenty of room, and plenty of comfort. Worth every penny. I would absolutely stay there again."

  • Perfect for Our Family!

"We had a wonderful time staying for four nights in early August. It was easy to find and close to Friday Harbor which was very helpful when catching the early morning ferries. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, the hot tub was amazing, the kids loved playing pool...it was perfect for our vacation. We were able to pick blackberries at the end of the driveway and down the lane. We made homemade blackberry syrup for our pancakes and ice cream. Deer were a common site around the house. The stars filled the sky at night. We felt very relaxed in this peaceful, secluded home. And, it was within ten minutes of the ferry terminal which was very convenient."

  • Double rainbows emblematic of this lovely home!

"It took us quite a few moments before we could get our collective jaws off the floor as we walked into this beautifully decorated, well taken care of home. The unit is the bottom floor of a home and it felt so spacious! The outside "room" only added to the size of the place, the BBQ works very well, the furniture is very comfortable and you cannot beat the view. My husband was inspired to cook while we stayed because of the well appointed kitchen which Annette stocked with every small appliance you might wish for. There are two master bedroom suites. The pull out couch was also comfortable. With fine comforters and sheets, the beds were a dream. Get the idea that we loved Annette's place? We're staying at a perfectly nice home on Orcas Island now but boy, so unfair because we had the "Annette" experience first. I mean, we had double rainbows and an electrical storm over the water! You'll be delighted with this stay just outside of Friday Harbor."

  • What a fabulous home!

"We rented this house for a family reunion/vacation for 9 of us ranging in age from 12 - 70. We all loved the house, with its beautiful view of the Bay, abundant wildlife sightings and the large great room where we could all hang out together. We found all of the rooms comfortable and the aesthetics, including the many wonderful quilts, very warm and welcoming. It was very clean and well maintained, with lots of helpful hints on things to do on the island. I would definitely recommend this place."
