  • Amazing island getaway

"Our family of four loved spending Thanksgiving at the Olga House. Paul and Leslee were extremely accommodating, especially working around a busy ferry schedule during the holiday weekend. The house was very clean and organized in such a way where some of us could watch a movie and others could play board games. It served as an excellent home base as we went for runs, hikes and into Eastsound for meals or shopping. It was a great experience we would gladly repeat."

  • Fantastic atmosphere

"We had wonderful fun and relaxing time in this specious, bright, beautiful house with fantastic views and ambiance! Thanks for this great vacation! Besides hanging around the beach and the house, we rode the bikes to Fairhaven, Interurban Trail and around Lummi Flats which is close by the house. I loved exploring the books. Will have to come back to finish one I started :) Although there are much more reasons to come back. It's just 45 min from home, but feels like a remote island!"

  • Great stay on San Juan!

"We stayed in this incredible home for four nights at the end of July. Everything was very clean and comfortable, but the view was outrageous! We had a little difficulty finding the house when we arrived after dark, but once we got in the door, we knew we had arrived! It's a little 80's, but quite luxurious. It was the perfect location for exploring the island. It's located in a beautiful quiet neighborhood where we saw black-tailed deer. There are orange-barked madrona trees lining the shore. The living area and kitchen (and the master bedroom) look out over the water and the sunsets are fabulous. The first morning we were there, we saw a mother and baby Orca out in front of the house. The house is walking distance to Snug Harbor where we went whale watching with Maya's Legacy (and saw two humpback whales!). We spent one day in Roche Harbor and another on Orcas enjoying Moran State Park and the Farmers' Market, before returning to this comfortable home. We had my birthday dinner (my Sweet Sixtieth!) of Dungeness Crab and prawns at the house. We were a little surprised at all the cleaning we were expected to do before leaving, including washing, drying, and folding all the towels and sheets, vacuuming, sanitizing the shower, etc.. There was a checklist, with an explanation that whatever the cleaning crew had to do , beyond one (or two?) hours of work, would be taken out of the deposit. Maybe if we hadn't done all of it (and we cleaned like crazy!), only a $50 fee would have been taken out, but maybe more (???) Karen was very helpful when I left a camera charger there; she mailed it back to Texas for me within a day of finding it. Overall, we would definitely recommend this wonderful place!"
