  • Great Family Getaway!!

"This is a beautiful, true log mountain home with plenty of room for a large family. We only had six people but the house will easily sleep eight people without feeling crowded. Everything we needed was available, well stocked including kitchen equipment, wifi, stereo with speakers throughout the home and all other necessities. The downstairs recreation room and pool table was fantastic for après ski family fun. The owners Norbert and Madeline met us at the property and gave us a very detailed tour of the property. They are great people and were very responsive throughout the whole process. In summary, we would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone looking for a great family mountain getaway."

  • Great escape into the forest

"My family and I had an amazing trip out to this Cabin for a weekend in October. The Chalet is extremely well kept, and a great design for lounging around and entertaining. I would, and plan to stay here again. The host was quick to respond when we had a question. Not a very far drive from Bellingham, but you will feel like you are hours away and secluded once you get there. A great starting point to enjoy baker for the day as well, I would say you are about 35 minutes from the lower lodge. All of the appliances worked, the hot tub was ready to go when we got there, it felt like home within minutes of our arrival."

  • Beautiful cabin equipped with everything you need!

"We had a lovely one night stay here and we wished we could have stayed longer. It is beautiful inside and out. We had 4 adults and two children and felt there was plenty of space. This cabin has everything you need for cooking, lounging, and sleeping. Location is great."

  • A Good Time Was Had By All

"Stayed at the cabin last weekend with a group of friends for a ski trip. Everything was as described, and the place was about a 30 min drive from the mountain. The cabin was clean and relatively comfortable (though perhaps large adults should rethink the twin beds upstairs, and the mattress on the trundle bed in the loft was not loved by the person who slept on it). Nice bonus that we found though was that the couch downstairs was actually a sofa bed, so the trundle bed mattress because a non-issue. Only a couple annoyances: the place lost power the morning we were leaving, so we spent quite a while handwashing dishes to clean up, and we were lucky that one of our group had packed a lighter or we wouldn't have been able to light the stove to make breakfast. Also, the gutter was leaking right outside the door where we entered / exited. Whining aside, we had a great time at the cabin. Good kitchen, loved the fireplace, lots of hot water for showers -- overall, a very good stay at a nice place for a weekend trip."
