  • The Ultimate Tranquility

"Gracie's Beach House is everything as described and much more. Situated about 100' above the water facing east, the views of the Cascades and Mt. Baker are spectacular to say the least. There is a stairway from the house down to the beach or you can walk or drive a couple of blocks to a beach club for beach access. The house offered plenty of space for our group of 8 (including a 2 year old) plus 2 dogs. There are 3 distinct seating areas outside overlooking Port Susan so if there is a time when you wanted to be away from your group, you can and still enjoy the view. The house is arranged so that there is plenty of private space inside too if needed. The house is well stocked with bedding, towels, cooking equipment, glassware and dishes. All the furniture and beds are very comfortable. Golf, groceries, gas and restaurants are close by. Cynthia, the owner is easy to get a hold of and very responsive to your needs. She was great to work with. If you're stressed out from work or anything else in your life, I highly recommend this place to reacquaint yourself with the tranquility that you deserve."

"We had a WONDERFUL 3 night stay here at Salmon Run. We had just gotten back from a 7-day Alaskan cruise and this was the best way to get away from the cruise crowds. From the beach, we did see "our ship" cruising back north again Saturday evening, which was pretty funny for us. This cozy, comfortable cabin was perfect for our family of four. The beds were all very comfortable. It was well stocked with everything that we needed. We enjoyed playing some games and watched a couple movies from the DVD "library." I especially loved the old-school feel of the cabin - updated with just the right balance for beachin' it, but not so fancy that you were afraid you'd mess up something. Our boys adored the rock beach and found tons of little beach crabs. There were also baby birds chirping in the bird house by the front door/garage door. We enjoyed seeing the mama keep busy feeding them. We explored Coupeville, Fort Casey, and Port Townsend. We had delicious Penn Cove mussels at the Front Street Grill. We'd definitely stay here again and hope to return. ~ A Colorado family with ties to the Northwest"

  • Spectacular location, intimate cabin

"Erinn's getaway is a well maintained, fun and functional rustic-style cabin that quickly makes you feel at home. The view into the bay is beautiful, and the cabin is surprisingly packed with amenities and even came with a bundle of wood for use in the patio fireplace. The beds are very comfortable, the kitchen well stocked for those that dine in, and the town of La Conner sports a variety of eateries of surprisingly great quality. We ate in tpwn at Nell Thorn's, the Brewery, and built our own Bloody Mary's at Amelia's. All were delicious! Spent a relaxing afternoon strolling the shops, wine tasting, and enjoying the charm of La Conner and the shop keepers. I would not hesitate to stay here again, especially given its accessibility to the greater Seattle area. Thanks for your attention to details and making it such a great weekend Erinn! - Mike"

"This was our second trip to Lopez and to the Sunrise Cliff House. We have been to Orcas, San Juan and Shaw islands as well. Lopez is definitely our favorite island and the Cliff House is our favorite place to stay. It cannot be beat for comfort, solitude, views and general relaxation. The sunrise on clear mornings was breathtaking and we love seeing the ferries go by, especially at night when they are all lit-up. We spend 8 days reading, hiking, doing puzzles and catching up with family that lives elsewhere. We never lacked new places to explore, which made it tough to balance that with just kicking back and enjoying the cabin. Thank you for providing such a beautiful, comfortable and well equipped home. We felt like we were home! We are still waving at people as we drive the streets at home. We loved that about the Lopez experience, but people here look at us like we are crazy... We will be back!"
