  • Summer in the 'Ham

"I couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay in Bellingham. My family really enjoyed the proximity to all of the things that we love about Bellingham. However, more importantly, this "basement" was beautifully appointed with everything we needed to have a relaxing stay. We love to cook and were really excited that it had a fully appointed kitchen--I mean we had everything we needed to put together tasty meals (spices, too!). The beds were comfortable, the linens clean, and everything was the way it should be. I wouldn't hesitate to rent here again."

  • Lovely and quiet studio on San Juan Island

"My husband, our two dogs, and I stayed in this nice studio cabin during President's weekend in February 2015. It was an excellent stay. We enjoyed walking the grounds of the properties with our dogs who weren't used to such space. Our ~10 year old Great Dane had a fun time exploring the space and then resting by the gas stove. There wasn't anyone staying in the main house at the time; if there were and they had pets too, it may have been awkward, but not a problem for our weekend. We enjoyed walking down Kanaka Bay Road, exploring Lime Kiln Park, and participating in a weekend wine tasting at the San Juan Vineyards. It was off season on the island but we were looking for peace and quiet, so it was perfect! The studio is really quite spacious and was well equipped."

  • Perfect wooded getaway

"After carefully analyzing all the available houses on Orcas I hit the jackpot with my selection of Seacliff. I live on a tropical island with ocean views from the pool and lanai so was totally delighted with the amazing view from the elevated deck's spa tub. Loved the gas grill and cooked "at home" for 3 out of 4 nights. As others have noted the house is impeccably designed and furnished, thoughtful in all the amenities and beautifully situated for privacy. No neighbors, noise or lights. Doug's warm personal and thorough review of Seacliff and the area had me feeling settled in within minutes. The high point of my stay was watching the supermoon rise on a cloudless night and the ensuing eclipse. Priceless experience and a memory that will have me dreaming of this hideaway for years to come. I spent an entire day lounging in the window seat reading and watching the passing marine life and listening to the water. The house was the perfect size for a lady looking for tranquility, a change of scenery and an environment different from her own place in paradise."

  • Even better than it looks!

"We had a ladies getaway weekend to this beautiful home to celebrate a birthday (which we do several times a year) and this home ranks among our very favorite! The pictures provide a good representation of the home but it is even better when you are there. We all loved it and it fit all five of us really well. What catches your eye when you first walk in is the amazing view from the living room, kitchen, main bedroom and their beautiful huge back deck. The Canadian San Juans are right there, and the beach is easily accessed by a set of stairs. When you explore the entire home you see what an amazing job they have done to decorate it so you feel cozy, comfy and at home! Before we left we called to make another reservation to come back in the summer! We cant wait to return! "The Girls""
