  • it's EVERYTHING !!

"My 15 year old daughter and I stayed in this amazing place for a long weekend to attend a wedding in Bellingham ( about 30 minutes south of Birch Bay) The place is a luxury condo. The pictures don't do it justice. You have your own entrance. There is an elevator if needed to get to the 2nd level. Once inside, the kitchen is wide and modern and a great gathering place. Lots of cupboards and storage for your food ( and booze!) The master bedroom has a slider door & view of the bay. The master bath is HUGE, with a walk-in closet ( bring some hangers though!) the 2nd bedroom big enough, and also has a huge closet. The main bathroom big, bright & clean. Did I mention the unobstructed view of the bay that goes on forever? The sunsets and people watching can mesmerize you. The condos have their own section of beach and you can actually have night fires right on the beach ( I suppose unless there is a burning ban!) Lots to do at BIRCH BAY and surrounding cities & towns. You have one covered parking stall and lots of extra parking available and the unit has Air Conditioning. We even had a 'function' on the Sunday following the wedding, we invited out friends and family and they all were all blown away by how beautiful the condo was. My daughter and I felt very special to be able to share some time with fam & friends in this amazing spot. We would DEFINITELY stay here again. Prompt return of the damage deposit, and the owner returned email responses immediately. We loved everything about it !!"

  • GREAT LOCATION!!

"This apartment is on the second level of a bay front building that sits directly on the edge of Birch Bay with mountains in the distance. It is very comfortable with seating and dining areas that have views of the rocky beach and water. There are two bedrooms, one with twin beds and one with a king bed. There is a working wood-burning fireplace in the living area and the central heating keeps the apartment comfortable. The kitchen is modern and very well stocked, including a stacked washer-dryer. It was also nice to have a barbecue on the outside deck. The owner was very helpful in resolving any minor issues that arose. The charming small city of Bellingham is about a half-hour away and other sites within a 2-hour drive include Seattle and Anacortes, for access by ferry to the San Juan Islands. The Canadian border is about 20 minutes away with Vancouver beyond. It was a bonus to have a dedicated parking space. For our month’s stay, we really felt “at home” in this apartment."

  • Relaxing Cottage

"Please don't hesitate to stay at Lora's Cottage. You will have everything you need there and the setting is magnificent! From the front porch you and your family can enjoy the beautiful hour long sunsets. There are miles of beaches to explore and lots of day trips to enjoy. You will actually save money because you can cook in the well stocked kitchen. Also there is grill and laundry. G"

  • Excellent Birch Bay experience

"We have spent many years at Jacob's Landing. Jack and Irene's condo provided us with a clean, well equipped launching pad. I appreciated all the extra little things that were made available. Thanks for making it another enjoyable stay."
