  • Great little family vacation home in great location

"The house is right in the middle of Lopez Village - walk to everything from there. You almost miss it the first time around because it's right between two businesses on the main road. The outdoor living space (in the covered sunroom) is almost as large as the house itself! There was a lot of equipment at the house - two bikes, kayak, tennis rackets, a ping pong table, a few board games and movies. Bunnies run abound outside in the yard. The first bedroom is an area sectioned off from the dining area, so not a true bedroom, but it was private enough. The second bedroom is a separate room with a bunk bed. This is really best for a family vacation (which we were!). There were ample cooking supplies in the kitchen and everything was clean and well maintained. The decor was simple but tasteful. The bathroom has a small shower, but also clean and well maintained. Plenty of soft towels, a hair dryer and some basic toiletries. The beds were comfortable - medium softness (perfect for me!). The sheets were clean and soft. There are skylights throughout, so it was light and bright, but if you're staying in the summer and are sensitive to light, bring eye masks with you! The only complaint is that there are only two upholstered chairs in the living room instead of a couch so it wasn't a place for lounging for a family of 4 (there were additional chairs if we wanted to watch tv - we weren't planning on watching tv while on vacation, so it's not a big complaint). The owners were easy to work with, the home opens with a coded lock, so they didn't need to meet us to check in, but they were available by phone if we needed anything. My kids loved staying here and it was perfect for our vacation!"

  • Mona from Seattle

"Our stay at your waterfront home was even more relaxing than we could have imagined. On a sunny day there is no place better on the island to be than in your front yard reading a book or down on the bay in a boat or on a SUP, or beach combing right in front of your place. Even when the sunshine was not cooperating, the home was so comfortable, setup to take full advantage of those amazing views. Watching the otters and the herons, the local boats from the marina across the way and of course the ferries come and go and a good book, there was really no need to get up and go anywhere. Capping off the day with a soak in the hot tub under the stars, while the lights of the ferries glided by, unforgettable. The grocery store had what we needed to prepare meals in your well stocked kitchen. Of course we needed to check out the bakery, farmers market and Fisherman's Pub when we did get to town. The only regret of the weekend. Having to leave for home...."

  • 2nd time, just as fine

"We love this house and Lopez Island - this was our second stay and it was just as pleasant as the first. This house is truly becoming our home away from home. It's great for families, children, adults, teens, Grandparents, etc. If a beautiful home on the beach, easy to get to, based in a small electic town is what you're looking for - you've found it."
