  • One of a kind beauty

"This is one of the most spectacular places we have stayed. The view is almost overwhelming it is so amazing. The house is a flawless vintage style and has every comfort needed. Comfortable beds, plenty of sleeping, large rec room that separates from the main living area. Huge deck with even more amazing views. Quiet neighbors. No need to look any further in this area for the rental you want. This is it!. The owner is extremely easy to work with and very attentive to your needs during your stay. Our damage deposit was returned in less than a week. We will consider this our rental home away from home from this point on. Just a few minutes into Anacortes for great dining or a quick trip to the grocery store. Deception Pass State park is about 5 minutes away. Plenty of hiking, fishing, tidepooling, boating are within easy reach. We have family that live in the area and are used to its beauty. But when they entered the house they were quite amazed by the location, the home and the panoramic views. Thanks to the owner for a perfect stay!"

  • A wonderful house with a stunning view of Chuckanut Bay and the San Juan Islands beyond.

"The house is an excellent place for a family gathering in a spectacular setting. It is especially suitable for a family that likes to cook and have meals together as the kitchen is large and well set up. There is also an excellent restaurant nearby--the Oyster Bar--perhaps the best in the area. If you like oysters, a visit to the Taylor oyster farm nearby is also special. For hikers the nearby Chuckanut trails have great views out over the islands. Parking along Chuckanut Drive is a challenge if you have more than the two cars that will fit in the garage, but that is a minor drawback as once inside the house the feeling is of arrival in a private sanctuary."

  • Agate Beach Retreat

"I lived on the south end of Lopez Island for five years in the late 90's. This place totally fit the bill for a comfortable stay with a group of college friends. It is close to some of my favorite outdoor haunts, spectacular scenery, nicely appointed with comfortable beds and a great kitchen stocked with any appliance you could possibly need. I hope to return again soon!"

  • Would stay here every time we come to Orcas

"Sara was fabulous about communicating and answered all of my questions in detail (when I asked about coffee, she told me the exact coffee maker model). The house is simply stunning and well appointed. The kitchen had everything we could want, including spices and good cookware. Amazing view, comfortable beds, beautiful art, and just an all-around thoughtful home. Everyone in our party would happily stay there again."
