  • The Best

"We melded three branches of family at this wonderful home for a week. It was absolutely perfect. Plenty of space and separation for alone time and plenty of community area for the group. Gorgeous views and wonderful home. The gym and lap pool were a great addition for the physically fit portion of our family. I cannot say enough good things about this property."

  • Lovely for a family getaway

"We had a terrific time for our week away - the house was immaculate, the location was ideal- it's about 15 minutes away from Eastsound and about 20-25 minutes to Moran State Park. We went hiking every day on the island and often went to Cascade lake for swimming afterward. Our family of two adults, 2 kids ages 7 and 10 and my mother (an active senior in her late 70's) had a fantastic time. We ate in almost every night, the kitchen is great to cook in and the grill works beautifully too. We used the hot tub every night - the view is to die for!!! I got up most mornings to see the sunrise. I felt like I was in a special tree house watching the birds, the deer and looking for sea life. The neighborhood is very quiet with only a few houses nearby. I agree that the terrain would not lend itself well to bicycle riding or running directly from or to the house given the steepness. I also would caution this for people with very small children if the parents were staying in the master which is one flight up - though the other bedroom is ideally located across from the bunkbed room. My daughters loved the bunkbeds! I strongly recommend this house for the comfort, the view and the location!"
