  • I hated to leave...

"What an extraordinary find. The cabin is at once elegant and charming, with absolutely everything one could want to produce a delightful fireside dinner in front of a gorgeous water view. This warm, cozy cabin provided us a home away from home in a quiet, secluded spot, yet it was minutes away from anything we wanted to do. The appointments let you know a fisherman decorated it. The kitchen let's you know a cook helped. And the upstairs reading nook - with a lovely view - let's you know it was designed for comfort. My family and I loved every moment except for the part where we had to leave. We will be back. I cannot recommend this more highly. It is now tied for first place with a cabin I know in Mendocino. Lovely spot for all ages, easily accommodates a large family or group."

  • MG

"What a great house! There must be a thousand items in the pinecone motif, yet it is lovely, not kitschy. We were three generations in the house, and everyone found a spot they enjoyed. The beach is very rocky, farther and steeper than I expected, but a part of the adventure. Great views. All was as listed. The only odd part was the bunk bed room only had exits through master suite or that bathroom."

  • Spectacular New Waterfront Estate

"We were the first family to rent this truly impressive waterfront estate since the owner finished having a new home built to replace an old cabin. The brand new main house is a large, elaborate, high-end custom "beach cottage" but it still has a comfortable and casual feeling. Set close to the water with a low bank near the southern end of White Point, the main house looks across Westcott Bay at Garrison Bay and Horseshoe Bay. It features stainless steel appliances in a gourmet kitchen with white marble counters, custom paneled walls painted in white gloss and stained beam ceilings, heated travertine floors and a steam shower in the master bath, a huge flat screen TV and a stereo system with built-in speakers throughout the house, folding NanaWall doors that open the house up to the outside, an outdoor entertainment area with contemporary wicker patio furniture set in decorative designer gravel, new landscaping with slate walkways, a beautiful new hardwood deck with gas fire-pit and a large Jacuzzi, and on and on... The matching guest house was built about 10 years earlier... Island deer, Blue Heron, sea otters, seals and Bald Eagles abound. Roche Harbor Resort, Spa and Marina is just a mile away. You will not be disappointed!"

  • Stay at Idyllic Island Retreat

"The house is gorgeous – the pictures just don’t do it justice – also everything is new and well-cared for. It feels like staying in a friend’s house rather than a VRBO. The kitchen is well equipped. The scene complete with deer and the pond is – well there are no other words to describe other than ‘idyllic’. We spent a lot of time in the house and rarely went out to eat in town. I couldn’t give it five stars because of the sleeping arrangements. The master is in a loft so there is no privacy. Also the mattress in the master was too soft which gave my husband back pain after a few nights so he even had to go down and sleep on the floor :(. The second couple in our party had to pick between a foldable full size sofa and twin beds, and they picked the latter. So it might work better for you if you are a family with three K+ kids and you don’t mind your master in a fully open loft."
