  • Semiahmoo weekend

"We enjoyed the condo very much. Being on the ground floor and so easily accessible to the beach was very enjoyable. The golf there is fantastic and we saw lots of boat traffic as it was opening day for dungeness crab. We missed watching the first preseason game of the Seahawks because the TV didn't have a DVR. But getting away from the TV was a better option anyway. I do think that you need to clear the bird nests on the outside fixtures because they make a real mess below. There is a ferry boat for passengers that goes from the Semiahmoo resort next door over to the Blaine spit. Thats pretty convenient instead of driving around. the sunken livingroom is attractive, but presents a challenge for older folks who may not see it, or don't easily negotiate it. It should have a railing in the center to "announce" that there is a drop there."

  • Beautiful home and view!

"This property was the perfect location for our high school girlfriend reunion! Beautiful log architecture house big enough to accommodate 9 of us comfortably. We relaxed on the large deck that has a view of the harbor and after dark we reminisced and played games in front of the magnificent, two story stone fireplace. The property is very private in a lovely setting surrounded by woods - the only neighbors we saw were several deer, birds and a black fox. It's conveniently located just a few minutes to the town of Friday Harbor, where we enjoyed great restaurants and shopping. We rented kayaks for a guided tour, went whale watching, and took a ferry to Victoria, BC. Awesome vacation rental!"

  • Spacious and nice country feel

"There were nine of us and we had no issue with space. My younger children, ages twelve and ten, enjoyed collecting eggs from the chickens and walking to the Curry Preserve to pick blackberries, using the hot tub, and making camp fires for s'mores. The kitchen was well equipped and got a lot of use. Be sure to stock up since food options are limited on the island. The Baker Preserve, just south, feels like a scene from Jurassic Park and is worth a visit for the 1.5 mile hike."

  • Very nice condo with waterfront view of Birch Bay

"This condo is the end unit on the third floor so it has a nice view of the bay and only one neighboring unit next door. It was very nicely decorated, furnished and equipped. We lacked nothing, making our stay very relaxing. The condo association owns the beachfront across the street from the condo building which makes for easy access and a less crowded beach. The owner provided thorough instructions for operating the various systems such as the three HVAC units and the TV and DVR equipment. I can recommend this unit without any reservations."
