  • Very nice place

"We really enjoyed our stay at the "wine country cottage." The house is very well kept, the furnishings and decor very warm and welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, utensils and small appliances such as toaster, etc. We were welcomed with a bottle of local wine (excellent), and had a nice time sipping it in the lovely garden backyard. The beds were comfy, and it was generally pretty quiet while we were there- except one morning when the neighbors decided to blare some Latin-style music (and sing along, too, lol!) for the whole street to hear. That was our only point of complaint, and you could have that happen anywhere. Overall a great time! Would recommend!"

  • Perfect for a Big Group Getaway!

"Our group of six couples stayed in the Seven Porches Guest House for three nights in early October. We hiked, biked, wine toured, and enjoyed exploring Waitsburg, Walla Walla, Dayton, and beyond. Several competing chefs among the group made great use of the kitchen! Our only suggestion would be to have a couple of folding chairs stashed somewhere, as we were two short for the huge dining table (we borrowed some from bedrooms, but they were pretty heavy to haul around). Perfect weather. We even spotted Izzy, the resident camel, smiling enigmatically as he strolled in his backyard. Don't miss the historic Iceburg Drive-In in Walla Walla."

  • Perfect Mountain Retreat!

"Just finished an amazing weekend at Strawberry Canyon lodge. We were looking to unplug from our busy lives and found the ideal setting. A paradise tucked away in the hills, perfect for privacy and solitude while being close to Walla Walla for anything you might need. The trails behind the lodge lead to spectacular views of the Blue Mountains and surrounding area. The owner is a delightful host and makes sure everything is taken care of – thank you Sheryl! Looking forward to a follow-up visit in the summer. Treat yourself to a relaxing stay at this wonderful lodge!"

  • Very nice house for all things Walla Walla!

"House was very clean, accurately described, reasonably priced, and in great location for walking to downtown as well as day trips around the region. We had no objections whatsoever. That part of town has a lot of really nice older homes and we often took different walks to downtown to check out the neighborhoods. Also, I should add that the growth and quality of wineries took us somewhat by surprise, so a little advance research would be a good thing. No issues at all with the rental process. I would recommend this rental to others and am considering a return trip on my end as well."
