Perfect Spot for a Romantic Getaway in Wine Country

5 of 5
Do yourself a favor and hit "book" now. The Willis Suite at the Mercer Guesthouse was perfect. I spent weeks combing VRBO/Airbnb for the PERFECT spot to celebrate my super belated birthday with my boyfriend. We're workaholics who needed a break from the hustle and bustle of Seattle, and boy did we find peace here. From the moment you enter the building, you will fall in love with the rustic country feel of the place. Upon entering the actual suite, we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of wine from Mercer Wine Estate and champagne for my birthday waiting for us. Talk about VIP! The suite is decorated beautifully with small details you can really appreciate. The bed/bedding is a cloud of comfort (we're actually ordering one for our own home) and the bathroom is gorgeous. Although I wanted to spend all my time inside the suite, we did some exploring in Prosser and loved it. Go to Heavens Horse Saloon for a great meal, delicious drinks, and even better conversations. There's also a cute little spot below the Suites called "Brewminatti". They have semi-bizarre hours (small town) and play live music so check out the line up before you head out there because the shows sell out. We spent our short weekend exploring Red Mountain in Benton City and Vintner Village in Prosser. The Tri-City area is a MUST for any true wine lover. My only con: having to leave! Thank you, Julie! We will be back!

Amazing property

5 of 5
Our family stayed at this property for thanksgiving and we loved it! It was the perfect space for a family gathering with plenty of space. The home was clean and comfortable, and the property was beautiful. The owner was also amazing to work with. I would highly recommend this property to anyone!
