  • Great

"We loved this house nestled in this quaint and quiet neighborhood we started everyday outside with coffee and wine in the evening. Alexa was attentive the one time we called with a question. And followed up with us when we left a personal item. We would definitely stay at the Francis House again."

"I can not say enough good things about the estate, Woody, and the staff. Everything was impeccable, every detail attended to, every thing we need was provided. The staff was very attentive and sensitive to our needs for our daughter's wedding. The wedding party of 20 stayed at the estate for three nights, enjoying the beautiful mansion and surroundings. Saturday's wedding for 100 was perfect, beautiful location to have a wedding. Everything was perfect. Walla Walla is a fun place for a wedding event - the wedding activities included a wine tour, golf, chocolate and wine tasting, and a lovely rehersal dinner catered at the estate. Fun time for all, what a wonderful place."

  • Beautiful home - close to town - amazing furnishings!

"We thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night visit at this lovely home. The rooms were beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Downtown was close, plenty of good restaurants, and I was amazed at the number of wineries just a few minutes away. The only downside was that my husband is handicapped. We stayed on the main floor, where most activities took place. However, to get there you had to go up a very narrow stairwell with about 7-8 stairs that were quite steep, with no handrail. We also had a clawfoot tub in the master bath which really needed grab bars to safely get in and out. There were walk-in showers downstairs and upstairs but that meant more stair climbing."

  • A great getaway from it all for one or two couples.

"This was exactly what we were looking for in getting away from the Fourth of July fireworks noise in Vancouver. The apartment built into the barn is very nice. It has everything two couples need for daily life. The farm setting is fun ... cattle horses, dogs, a kitty, along with seeing the many implements and hard work required to keep a farm going. Although we only visited Three Rivers Winery, the farm is in the middle of wine country and there is much to explore along these lines. The little city of Walla Walla is very nice too. We enjoyed strolling Main Street, visiting shops and having a very nice lunch at The Olive Marketplace and Cafe."
