  • Thumbs Up!

"Cool place to get away from the city for a few days. We spent most of our time at the river only a small walk from the cabin."

  • Crystal Rainier Retreat

"This was a very nice house conveniently located near Mount Rainier National Park and many of the places that we wanted to visit. It was clean and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen, spa, and downstairs game area (with toys and games for both adults and kids). We especially enjoyed the outdoors fire pit (although the barbeque grill was not functional). There are two bedrooms with beds and two lofts with futons. This was not ideal for our large group, which included 8 adults and 2 very young children, but was acceptable. The sleeping arrangements would be fine for a slightly smaller group or with older children. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would certainly consider renting the Crystal Rainier Retreat again at some time in the future."

  • Tranquility

"Wonderful cottage with great access to Mt. Rainier National Park. My husband and I stayed here with our 2 year old for three nights and had a great time! The kitchen has everything you need including an outdoor gas grill. We stopped at Pike's Place Market in Seattle before we drove down here so brought fresh salmon and scallops to make on the grill; delicious! The deck has nice built in seating. We also enjoyed watching the stars from the hot tub every night as well as the firepit. My son spent hours exploring the river; great views, very quiet. We had a fire in the woodstove one night as well as it was starting to get cool at night. Children's books and toys were provided. Everything in the house was clean and in good working order. Communication with the owner was great. I would highly recommend this as a home base for MRNP. Stop at the Wildberry Restaurant for dinner; interesting blend of American and Nepalese food with amazing blackberry pie!"
