  • Sweet, romantic, luxurious cabin and side cabin near Mt. Rainier!

"This cabin (and side studio cabin) was incredibly cozy, romantic, and clean! My husband and I stayed in the side cabin (this is a little cabin right next to the main cabin) while our 2 friends and their 2 little ones stayed inside the big, main cabin. The side cabin is perfect for 2 adults- a large queen bed that comfortably sleeps 2 adults, the most luxurious, spacious, modern shower, a sink, small flatscreen TV with DVD player (it is a good idea to bring your own DVDs or rented DVDs), and the most amazing thing is that the temperature is absolutely perfect inside, warm and cozy. I was most impressed by the shower stall (it's more like a room) with 2 shower heads and a bench. We went at a time when it was rainy, overcast, and chilly, but the temperature was perfectly regulated inside the side cabin. There is no kitchen inside the side cabin, but there was a fridge for your foods or snacks and a microwave. If you want to cook using the stove, you have to go inside the main cabin. However, the side cabin was perfect for our needs because we didn't cook at all and we just headed into town that was a few miles down the road to eat and have some beer. There are several restaurants and bars nearby and it was not hard finding a place to eat. Since our friends were staying inside the main cabin, we checked it out as well, and it is incredible. Comfortable and spacious kitchen with all accommodations, beautiful living room, and many spacious rooms for your friends and family. Both main cabin and side cabin are spick and span!!!!!! My favorite part of the stay was the giant hot tub, located right in between the main and side cabin. There is also a fireplace pit area, but we did not use it. Also, it was relaxing to lay on the hammock next to the hot tub and look at the stars! If I recall correctly, the National Park entrance was 15 minutes away and the area is great for hiking for it is close to trailheads and if you buy the park pass and get to Rainier, you are super close to major hiking. For us, the short trip was just about getting away and enjoying the peace and that's what we got!!! We took a short walk and found a small lake and a playground and saw deer as we walked. I would MOST CERTAINLY go again and stay in the cabin. A large group of friends and I plan on renting the same cabin this winter! It is so peaceful out there, and it was quite wonderful to spend time in a clean, charming cabin that is clearly well-maintained! Loved it, would go back again!"

  • Awesome cabin!

"Loved the cabin! Everything was great from start to finish. Lisa was excellent, communicated well and was helpful with every step. It was super cold outside but warm with the awesome fire stove inside. Loved the kitchen, bathroom, and especially the loft sleeping area. Dog stuff and deck with a closed in fence was a bonus. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the space. Would love to own something just like it one day. Can't wait to go back in the summer!"

  • Very clean and cozy!

"This house was very quaint, clean and cozy! Owner was a pleasure to deal with. Only complaints are that the beds are pretty small for sharing so something to consider. Also- only street parking for all houses in the neighborhood so there were ALWAYS cars parked in front of the house and walkway. This was not a huge issue as we were always able to find a place to park. But if you have to haul a lot of stuff inside it's something to consider. Overall we loved it and hope to stay again next year- as this is an annual trip for us every year. :-)"
