  • Pleasant Stay

"Spent a pleasant and comfortable weekend at Lazy Day despite the 95-100 degree weather. The cottage was clean, nicely furnished and well-equipped. No need for the hot tub but the screened porch provided a temporary escape from the air conditioner. There is plenty to do if you're a hiker, cyclist, or just enjoy hanging out."

  • Great house for groups.

"Great house for groups. Great space to hang out together but also has plenty of room if you need some space to yourself."

  • Warm and cozy (like being at grandma's house)

"Joe & Sam's house was warm and inviting. The moment we entered, we felt the charm and cheeriness of this lovely old house. For a turn of the century house, it is in great condition and very, very quiet. Our dog Annie enjoyed herself as well going for walks in the neighborhood. The whirlpool bath was amazing and although the beds are on the smaller side for us (we have a King at home), they were very comfortable and a wonderful rest after a long day. We would love to stay again! Regards, Dan, Maria & Annie-Dog"

  • Birthday/ long weekend trip

"We visited for the holiday weekend. Myself, husband, and our friends (also a married couple). We had never visited the area before, and chose it because it was halfway between our homes. The home was immaculate, with every comfort of home, and many more. We had the luxury of unseasonably warm weather for Florida, so we were able to sit on the screened porch and enjoy the fresh air. It also made getting in/out of the hot tub less painful! Karen even left an extra touch- a few K-cups and brownie mix was there to greet us! We thought it was such a nice gesture. My only dislike would have to be the bed(s), as the king was pretty hard, and the downstairs wasn't much better. However, I prefer a much softer mattress, so that's likely just my preference. I slept on the couch one night in front of the fire instead, and was quite content! All in all, the home was wonderful, and we all talked about how much we would enjoy staying there again."
