  • Very nice place for a large family

"Like many of you looking for a place on Snowshoe it can become overwhelming and frustrating to know where to stay. This cabin has a paved driveway that pulls strait up to a heated garage on the main level. You don't have to climb any stairs with all your gear and luggage which was a big plus. Very open design with kitchen large dining room and family room all together. It has a wood burning fireplace on the main level. As well as the laundry room and master bedroom with a large bathroom. There is a half bath as well downstairs. On the upper lever there is a large room with 2 futons and a twin over full bunk bed. There is also 2 other bedrooms with full size beds and a bathroom with shower. The Cabin was clean and nicely decorated. Nothing outdated or worn out. It also has a nice hot tub and a large back porch area. The front porch looks over the valley with great views. There is a private shuttle that you can call that will take you to the slopes of Snowshoe and Silvercreek. It typically took about 15 minutes to arrive once called. There is wifi at the cabin and satellite tv. Lots of movie and a nice stereo with Bose speakers. It is less than 5 mins from the Village by car."

  • great place - comfortable

"We didn't arrive until after 11:00 p.m. and check in was easy. Lack of air conditioning wasn't an issue because it was cool on the mountain and there were several fans for the rooms. Clean and comfortable. Not too far from the Cass Railway, Greenbrier River and Greenbrier River Trail, Greenbank Telescope and the Durbin Rocket. Soap was provided in the bathrooms and automatic dishwasher packets provided in the kitchen. Bring dish soap if you wash dishes the old fashioned way. Comfortable beds. Wifi adequate but spotty on the mobile phones at times. The area is beautiful in the summer. We'd stay again, hands down."

  • Peace and Quite and Beautiful

"This place is such a little treasure on top of the mountain. It is one bedroom, very convenient and convertible condo with view of the mountain slope and lake. It feels rather spacious and has a lot of sunlight. The big kitchen table is really great. :) :) :). The condo was very clean and the complex has pool, sporting facilities and laundry room. The staff at the property provided me with all things I asked for. I was very comfortable. I visited in October, so outside of the ski season. The weather was just perfect for long walks. I had very peaceful and serene time in this beautiful environment, which is exactly what I was looking for. :) I highly recommend it."
