  • Unique property!

"Comfortable old house close by to Berkeley Springs is an excellent home base while touring the area. Everything was clean and well stocked. Enjoyed having the option to bring our pup along, too. Would recommend to anyone except those with mobility problems - the stairs to the bedrooms are steep and narrow. Strong wifi but tv channels are very limited. Ate at Lot 12 both nights we were in town. Very good food, service, and ambiance. Be sure to take a drive and visit the Paw Paw Tunnel for an interesting walk."

  • Late Summer Getaway

"My boyfriend and I rented the cabin for the weekend as an alternative to the crowded beaches in Maryland/Delaware. We knew from the pictures that the views from the deck would be great, but they were even more spectacular than we could've imagined. The cabin was very nice and clean when we arrived. We stopped at a grocery store on the way up so that we wouldn't have to venture out later that night. After settling in, we enjoyed the night views and hottub. The cabin doesn't have central air, but the air conditioning unit worked great. We were comfortable for the entire weekend. We brought a laptop with movies on it to watch in bed at night. The basement bedroom was nice and cool every night, so we slept down there. The bathroom was nicely updated (shower is amazing!) and even had a few toiletries if you happened to forget something. On saturday, we went to the town of Berkely Springs. It's a small town, but there is a great olive oil shop that has some very friendly and knowledgable owners. We bought a few items to marinade our dinner with for later that night on the grill. Do make sure to check out the Antique Mall and the state park. It's a really neat little town. We loved it and Instagramed a lot of pictures :)"

  • Perfect place for a girls getaway.

"We felt welcomed before we even arrived. The owners walked us through all the important info. The place is delightful with lots of little touches to pamper us. Beds are comfy, as are the couches. We enjoyed the solitude but we're just minutes away from Berkeley Springs. Can't think of one thing that could have been done better. Hope to make it back someday"

  • Best Vacation in a long time

"The cottage is nestled in the wood and is so peaceful sitting on the deck; all you can hear is peacefulness. Saw deer and wild turkeys while walking my little dog. The cottage is well appointed with nice comfortable furniture, flat screen TV's and ceiling fans in each room, well decorated, and a very well equipped kitchen. There are dimmers on every light switch which is a very nice touch. A/C works very well. The pool is beautiful up on the hilltop and you have a beautiful view of the mountain ridge and a nice breeze. I can't say enough about this little gem. I'll definitely book this retreat in the woods again!"
