  • It had EVERYTHING you would need!!!!

"This house was so equipped it came with a spare toothbrush. Yes, I forgot mine. We were amazed at everything that the house provided for us. The space was comfortable for six of us, the beds were adequate and the beauty unspoiled. We enjoyed gazing out at the evergreens covered in snow, the deer that came to beg for food at the window, and the quiet and solitude of the placement of the home on the Snowshoe mountain. It had every pot, pan and baking sheet one would need, along with crock pots and every cooking utensil imaginable. We had an amazing time and we think anyone would. The walk to skiing was a short distance even in ski boots, the bus was available and we had the best time with 3 inches of fresh powder in March."

  • Very pleasent stay at Camp 4 Codo #56 in Powderrige, Snoweshoe

"The condo was clean and cozy, and the overall cleanliness was acceptable. In the refrigerator, under the left drawer was some gunk and crusted on liquid, which I removed. The kitchen was well equipped, but besides in the refrigerator, there was absolutely no space available to put groceries. All in all we had a very pleasant stay at this condo. We loved the fireplace, and the ski in/ski out feature of the location. I would absolutely stay at this condo again."

  • Summer stay at Hawthorne House

"My husband, dog, and I had a great time staying at the Hawthorne House. The kitchen was well equipped and the house overall was beautifully decorated. With all the decks and porches, there was always an outdoor space to use, rain or shine, sunrise or sunset. There were quite a few deer to watch in the woods around the house. The old oak trees with ferns all over the forest floor, the lichen-covered rock formations, the tall, mature, rhododendron along the drive, and what I think were wild blueberry bushes below the back of the house, among everything else, made for a lovely private and natural looking setting. Even though we visited in the middle of the summer, the nights and mornings were cool and we hardly used the air conditioning since the house had great cross ventilation between the slide glass doors -- so the stay was a nice break from the unbearable DC summer."
