  • Absolutely everything we could have wanted&more!!

"What a wonderful place for our large family gathering!! The picture does not show the true size of the home. We had 12 adults and 8 kids and all had room to spread out and then gather together to eat and fellowship. There were horses on the property that were spoiled during our visit (they love carrots and apples!!!). Abundance of hiking opportunities and such a peaceful setting. We loved the uniqueness and rustic nature of the house. The wood stoves and fireplace kept us warm at night!! We did not venture out into the community because we had everything we needed onsite. Cannot say enough about the innkeeper - Larry - he was awesome and so friendly and accommodating!! We loved our stay. Thank you for such a wonderful Christmas!!!"

  • great trip

"We had great time at this property. Place is small but worked well for us (my husband, son and I). The folding into the wall bed was a great solution to have more space during the day. Great bonus was the pool in side and outside heated as well as 2 hot tubs and sauna . We ate in side and there was everything to prepare our own meals . I just missed dishwasher. Was not expecting to wash dishes on my vocation. But over all it was great place ,great time ,great memories, I didn't want to leave. ....."

  • Great weekend trip on the slopes

"With great sunset and wildlife views you cannot beat this property for the money. A short (one long staircase and about 50 yards) walk to the slopes and village and you are right in the thick of the Snowshoe experience. I rented this spot for myself, my wife, my 2 year old son, and another couple. There was plenty of sleeping space. The property itself is a touch dated (as is the entire Summit complex) and provides a no frills place to rest after a long day of outdoor adventures. The condo itself was very clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook tacos and pizzas. There were games and movies stocked and ready to provide some downtime entertainment. Out on the deck, watching the deer graze with the sun setting behind the West Virginia mountains was magical; the perfect backdrop for your "apres ski" cocktail. The homeowner, Rusty, and the building manager, Jim, were great to work with and provided numbers to reach them with any issues. This was a great rental for the price. If you are looking for granite countertops, heated floors, updated appliances, an ice maker, etc... you should look elsewhere and be prepared to pay a premium. Snowshoe has the best ski/snowboard experience in the region. If you need a cheap, clean, close place to stay, you won't be disappointed in 105B."

  • The cabin was clean, comfortable, & close to many things that we wanted to do during our stay.

"We enjoyed the cabin very much. It was nicely decorated & was equipped with all the essentials, minus a few minor things. The hot tub was great after miles and miles of hiking everyday. The mountain scenery is absolutely beautiful. We were a little disappointed in the local restaurant choices. We ended up traveling to Elkins the 2 times that we did eat a meal that we didn't cook ourselves - we were very pleased with Smoke on the Water & El Gran Sabor. We were also somewhat disappointed that we were unable to relax around a bonfire at night. But overall, we had a great time here."
