  • A Perfect Getaway!!!

"A very calming and relaxing cottage. Malcolm and Pam made us feel at home with the exceptional clean cottage in a pastoral setting. It was wonderful watching the sheep and the Llamas going about their business. Very close to the C&O canal where we enjoyed a wonderful day of biking to Harper's Ferry. Even a rainy day proved to be relaxing as we enjoyed the Charles Town sights and sounds. We WILL return, and we would recommend this setting to all who wish to get away and enjoy a setting that is out of this world!"

  • Enjoyable stay for a memorable event

"We stayed at the Antietam Guest House to experience the illumination of 23,000 candles honoring the soldiers killed, injured, or missing on that terrible day on the Antietam battlefield. It was a very moving experience. The guest house was a perfect location to be involved in the events and the hosts had it well supplied. On Saturday morning we had a private tour by Bob Murphy of RCM History tours that added greatly to our experience. He is knowledgeable and brings the battle to life explaining how the troops arrival affected the small town prior, during, and after the battle. We had a full weekend of Civil War experiences."

  • Fantastic- great location

"We had an excellent holiday at this property. Great location, many surrounding restaurants and shops including the one below. House is beautifully decorated and kitchen has everything you need. Loved watching the trains, would be a great place to stay if you are coming in by Amtrak or even MARC. We had two families stay here, from Michigan and Connecticut, and were able to spend holidays in one spot together relaxing rather than running around. A very enjoyable experience."
