  • Very Accommodating Property

"The cabin was convenient to Davis, Thomas, and obviously Canaan Valley amenities. Very spacious. Comfortable even without AC. Was nice hearing the creek close to the cabin, especially at night with the windows open. Needed a more thorough cleaning inside and the hot tub, but it wasnt bad.Deck furniture has a rustic feel but some other chairs would be nice. This would be a great property for a group or even a couple wanting some room to relax. Would definitely return to this cabin."

  • Nice property, close to village, great propert management

"Julann is great to work with and very responsive to any questions you may have about the property. The condo worked well for our family get together and the kids loved being close to the village (5 min walk) and all the activities. I would definitely rent this unit again."

  • Beautiful

"The house is beautifully maintained. Everything you need is there for you. No need to travel with extras because the owner has already thought of it. It is a great place to relax. Drinks by the poolside are a must. It is also a wonderful "home" base for day trips. Much to do. Harpers Ferry and all things historical. Frederick, Maryland was a beautiful walking town only about 1/2 hour away. Shops, antiques, restaurants and of course history. And don't forget D.C. It is a little farther but not too far for a day trip."

  • Wonderful ski vacation spot for families

"Wonderful place for our extended family of kids/grand babies. Plenty of room and plenty of heat to stay warm. One reviewer said the fireplace was out, but we were able to get it working by lighting the pilot light. Kitchen was very well stocked with pots/pans, utensils etc for us to cook our meals. Beds were comfortable, snow room was exceptional to keep boots and ski's and get suited up for skiing. Dale, the owner, was very helpful and friendly. We were too tired each night to get out so we never tried any of the restaurants or activities other than night skiing. The walk to catch the bus for night skiing is not super close (especially in ski boots :) ) but some of our group did it twice. Also, make sure you are at the right bus stop that goes to Silver Creek. Note to get to Snowshoe slopes......walk through the woods and the Mountain Lodge lobby rather than behind the building.....it seemed easier and was a last minute warm-up before getting back outside in the cold. Would definitely come back to this location!!!"
