  • Perfect for families and a great view of the slopes for kid lessons

"We had a party of nine. Four adults and five kids. Perfect location, perfect for kids in lessons, perfect to get to restaurants. The condo is much more modern than other units we have rented. We loved the kid room, which our boys called the man cave. Bathrooms were updated and there was ample storage for our clothes. New TVs and perfectly working wifi were very appreciated. Kitchen had a ton of dishes and cooking/baking utensils and bakeware. We are hoping to book again next year. Wonderful stay and wonderful owners. Only wish we could have paid with a credit card - that's our only ask!"

  • Wonderful Cabin, Secluded and Peaceful

"You will not go wrong renting this cabin! We had our three generation family (7 people) and one dog, and had plenty of room. This was our first time in WV. The cabin owner was wonderful to work with, always responded in a timely manner and graciously answered my million questions about the cabin as well as provided awesome information about area recreation. The listing is accurate to what you will get, and the cabin is even nicer than what you expect to find. The property was clean and maintained. Advice: We have Verizon and did not get cell service anywhere we went, and we drove up to 2 hours from the cabin. Do bring a phone card as suggested. The good news is, there is WiFi in the cabin and it works great if you need to communicate to anyone back home. There are plenty of outdoor chairs - no need to haul your own. Definitely bring all the food you will need because grocery stores are lacking. Things to do: Go check out Seneca Rocks. There is an awesome visitor center and a hike up the mountain you will not soon forget. Plan to be gone the whole day if you do the hike because it is long, but worth the 2 hour drive! Also visit N-Rocks. We have never rock climbed before but did the Via Ferrata climb. Beautiful views and very exhilarating. It was worth the money and the drive. If fishing for trout, you can catch just as many in the creek at the entrance of the private road as anywhere in the area. (During mid-June anyway...) Great place to let the kids fish and catch tadpoles."

  • Just what we were looking for

"Had a group of guys looking to get away for the weekend. The house was exactly what we had hoped for. The water was fine and the house was in good condition with a well stocked kitchen (we cook a lot) and nice outdoor/indoor rec areas. Certainly no foul smells, etc. The owner seemed to be a normal, responsive person. Rent with confidence."

  • Beautiful views

"We spent a couple of nights in this cabin, and loved it. Shanna was very attentive, making sure we had good directions and even let our kids feed her goats. Cabin was comfortable and clean, and the mountain views were stunning."
