  • A weekend we will not forget!

"We just ended our stay in Cabin 3 for the weekend and it was amazing. There is nothing more that we needed during our stay. Meredith was very nice and helpful throughout the entire weekend, and she even answered our calls aboout random questions that we had when she was not in the office. It was the perfect getaway for my friends and I. The cabins were very clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. Can't wait to book again!"

  • Beautiful Condo

"We've stayed in over 30 B&B's and condos across the United States and I must say this was one of the nicest we've ever stayed at. It is very modern, spacious, clean and has many ammenities on site such as pool, hot tub, golf course and a beautiful lake. It is also very close to the Wisconsin Dells which offer many activities for families. I would definitely stay here again."

  • Perfect family lake retreat!

"We had 8 adults and 4 kids under 4 years of age. There is a "den" that has a futon where one couple/baby slept. It would be great if there was an actual bed in that room, but it worked. The sofas in the living room are also futons. The kitchen is fully furnished, but bring extra paper towels. One roll barely lasted us a day. We had just enough towels. I slept in the master and it was very comfortable. The kids loved playing at the beach (just outside the condo or down 50 yards where there is a beach with a trampoline in the water!) and walking across the "street" to the pool. They had a great kids pool. We didn't play much sand volleyball, but that's right there as well. We rented a pontoon for an afternoon from the resort (call the tiki bar to order it). It was perfect and the highlight of the vacation. We walked down to the tiki bar one night to listen to the band. Castle Rock lake is huge! It was pretty and just outside our window. None of us had even been here before. It didn't disappoint. Oh - get a fishing license online before you go. There isn't any place to get one conveniently. The guys enjoyed fishing. Everyone else caught fish.. we did not. We had fun creating memories with our grandchildren. Would recommend staying here! Only negatives: The dishwasher isn't "anchored" and I worried we'd break it. The was a hair dryer in the master, but not in the other bathroom. We didn't have16 resort bracelets and I was afraid Stacy would charge us for any missing. She didn't, but just an FYI for the next people that stay here. Maybe another roll or two of paper towels? There isn't a store very close, but we needed ice anyway... so we just picked some up then. Remember to bring your beach towels and coffee...and just enjoy. It really was a ton of fun!"

  • Wonderful home that made for wonderful memories

"Steve's home is beautiful, and it was perfect for all the kids that we had on the trip. It was obvious that the home was set up for multifamily groups. The bedrooms had a good mix of queen size beds and bunk beds. The master bedroom was roomy and had a very comfortable king size bed, and good size bathroom. We weren't thrilled that the water was well water, but we were happy to find that it was nearly undetectable. I wouldn't recommend drinking it, but it was nice not dealing with a strong well water odor. We really liked the open layout of the main floor, which is where we spent most of our time, and the dining table even allowed for us to squeeze all 16 of us around it for dinner. Granted, we used two high chairs for the littlest ones, but we still managed to eat together, which was very important to me and my wife. As advertised, access to the beach is within 5 minutes, which were really grateful for. We loved the walk with the kids to the dam and nature path near the home. There is a great little rock beach area along the path that the kids, and adults, loved. The rocks were all flat and perfect for rock skipping. There were two small reasons for not giving this place 5 stars. The home was well maintained and clean, unfortunately there was some garbage on the grounds around the home. I'm assuming it was left there by the people who rented the home before us, but the cleaning crew missed some stuff. One other small thing was the temperature control in the residence. The home has great A/C, but it's nearly impossible to get all three levels to be at the same temp. The basement gets pretty cold, the main floor is comfortable and the third floor bedrooms are on the warm side...cold rather than too hot is a good problem to have. Lastly, we have some great memories of our 25th wedding anniversary, and most of them have to do with our stay in this beautiful place. This is definitely a home that we will recommend to friends, and will probably use again, if we can manage to get all of us together again in one place for five days."
