  • Spacious, Clean, and Well Equipped

"My big group and I had an enjoyable time at this Lake front home! The house was actually bigger than expected and the backyard and view was just breathtaking. It's a very quiet neighborhood but the bonfire is far enough to not disturb anyone. The house had everything we needed from dishes, towels, sheets, pillows, gameboards, wood, laundry machines, etc. There's even a pool table in the outhouse! The house can be a bit tricky to find the first time. Once you hit the corner shown on the GPS, you'll have to turn into a little dirt road and the house is the last one with a gate. Plenty of space for parking. Lot's of great memories at this house for us. We would definitely recommend!"

  • Very thoughtfully laid out place with walking trails through prairie on a large pond.

"The first and last impression surrounding this place is RELAX! (It's actually written on a workshop as you pull in). The farmhouse is functionally restored and beautiful with private spaces that do not compromise the community feel of the place. The 20 acres is accessible through mowed paths. There is a canoe and row boat, which we made heavy use of. The hot tub is functional and inviting--again, heavily used. The dining table is beautiful and large enough to host the guests in the home and maybe a few visitors. 3 bedrooms: 1 w king, 1 w queen, 1 w/ twin and full. We were able to put the 3 boys (youngest is 5) in the twin/full room. The surrounding gently hilled, forested roads were great for biking and running. If you want to relax, whether as 1-2 couples or as a family, this is a great place and the hosts/owners are responsive and accommodating."

  • Amazing Time!!

"My family (4 adults and 4 kids) stayed late August and had an absolutely marvelous stay! Everything was clean and in great shape. The cottage was more than we could have imagined for. Our kids had so much fun as did the adults. The neighbors were friendly and the area is just very laid back and wonderful. We rented a pontoon from the nearby marina one day which was a great time! We made use of the pier and fire pit and the kids even enjoyed finding "sea shells" wading in the water just off the dock. Initially, there was some payment confusion between myself, vrbo and the owner which was promptly resolved. We would LOVE to stay here again, but the neighbors made it sound like they might not be renting much in the future :( I believe one is retiring and planning to make use of the vacation home themselves! Congrats on retirement! Hope we can come to the area to stay again in the future!"
