  • Unforgettable, Awesome, Vacation 9/10/2016 - 9/17/2016

"As my wife and I close out our last day here we will be leaving with some memories that we will never be able to duplicate or forget. (Ask Bob or Sue about this) The cottage is an awesome place to stay! It is SO quiet and relaxing. The cottage was very clean and stocked well. We were able to have some relaxing fires in the fire pit and the fishing was awesome, even from the dock at the lake. Bluegill and Perch were caught without the use of the boat, but having the boat was wonderful to take a look at other areas of the lake. There are so many amenities to this place that you could not list them all. You would have to check it out to see what I mean. There is plenty of activities in the area for family and adventures. The owners, Bob and Sue are the best hosts we have had so far with our vacations using VRBO! They were very responsive to any and all messages that were sent. They made themselves available at any time if we had questions or concerns, and yes we did have to contact them with a situation and they immediately were there to help out!!!!! To the owners Bob and Sue: Keep doing what you are doing!!!! You are sure to have many families making their own memories that would not be possible without you!!! You are AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!! I would highly recommend this rental to anyone who needs to get away from all the hustle and bustle of everyday life!"

  • Clean, comfortable and exactly as described.

"We had a great stay and truly enjoyed our first visit to northern WI. The home was set up well for our needs and we were immediately "at home" upon arrival. Bring your own food, clothing and fishing gear and know that the rest is available upon arrival. The owners provided ever possible accommodation and their welcome binder was full of helpful information on the home, the community and local attractions. The folks in town were very friendly and anything we forgot to bring was available with local shopping. The fishing on Big St Germain was tough but we were able to catch all the fish we wanted in several smaller local lakes."

  • Another Wonderful Week At Four Sisters Point

"This summer we were fortunate to spend another great week at Lake Katherine. It was our 4th trip to Mary's cabin, although the last time was in 2008 (too long ago). Our family has grown since then, so our son's families split up the week with grandma and grandpa. The weather was great, and we spent a lot of time on the lake, boating and fishing. Also spent a lot of time by the dock, with the kids having a great time in the water. Lots of campfires, both in the firepit by the lake and the firepit on the large, expanded deck. Because the property is so large, at times it seemed that we had the lake to ourselves. There were a couple of trips to Minocqua to enjoy the tourist things and a "dinner out" for grandma and grandpa at one of the great Northwoods restaurants. We have been at the cabin in June, July, and August and they have all been great stays. We truly enjoy the privacy at Four Sisters Point and how Mary has been able to keep the quaint "Up North" cabin atmosphere while adding the modern things that we enjoy. We're looking forward to future stays. Marge & Lanny Peterson Rothschild (Wausau), WI"

  • Charming, rustic cabin on serene lake!

"Our family of 5 had a wonderful north woods vacation on clear, quiet Katherine Lake! The cabin is nestled amongst the pine trees, beautifully decorated, cozy, and had everything we needed (comfy beds also). Most days were spend on the water/private pier enjoying the lake front amenities; paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, and lounging I n the hammock. So nice to pull a boat right up to the pier for skiing and tubing! Great day renting bikes in town and hitting the Bearskin Trail, scenic and perfect for all fitness levels. The lake view from the cabin's spacious screened porch was our favorite place to dine or hang out. In the evening we enjoyed the cabin's movie and game selection and s'mores around the campfire. This vacation was all that I hoped it would be, a perfect family get away before our kids headed back to college. Megan, the owner, was a pleasure to work with and very respondent to questions we had from start to finish. We can't wait to return!"
