  • Great cabin in a great location

"This was a great place to stay! It was clean, updated with a well stocked kitchen. There was plenty of room for all of us to stay. The canoes and kayaks were great to use to float down the river from Fishtrap Dam right to our cabin! The dock was great for our own boat. The lake is good for fishing and not a busy lake for tubing and skiing. It was a very enjoyable stay, including watching the deer walk through the yard each morning, and an easy walk right into town."

  • Snow filled fun!!

"Our family traveled to La Bri for President's Day weekend and had a blast! The cabin is so comfortable and cozy, it really felt like home. The kids had so much fun out on the ice and sledding in the snow. We spent a day skiing nearby at White Cap mountain and it couldn't have been more convenient to come back to La Bri! Night skies filled with stars completely mesmerized our girls as they watched them through the many skylights. The full kitchen and large number of bedrooms and bathrooms were great to have as well. Wonderful family memories were made, and we can't wait to return to a little piece of heaven in the woods!"

  • Outstanding! Without exception this property is 5+ stars.

"6-27-16 I am a seasoned outdoors person who has a lot of experiences from back country backpacking to exclusive resorts. For the money you will not beat this property. In more detail: The entire property is immaculate (inside and out). No undergrowth throughout the property to hold excessive bugs etc. The trees have all been trimmed properly (just enough) to get great views of the lake but not barren. Many fire pits throughout the property (each cabin also has their own) with Adirondack chairs. Plenty of cut wood to grab when needed. The entire cabin was VERY clean with comfortable beds and plenty of sitting areas. Bathroom and kitchen extremely clean with all working parts (stove, oven, facets, micro, toilet, hot water, etc). The water front and pier are in excellent condition with sitting areas throughout the property. (Added bonus of a concrete patio so the adults don’t have to constantly be sitting in the sand) with ample tables next to the chairs for a cold drink. The beach area is clear of all debris. Water front seems to be approximately 200’ wide with a swimming area that is 0-3’ deep as far out as 200’. The building that was the dining area from the original girl’s camp can be used for ping pong, reading a book or kid’s toys up to 6 years old. Owner went out of their way to bring in a fish cleaning station with plans to build a new station with a roof and screening. One of the owners (Lynn) lives on the property. She is VERY nice and gives you your space – however she is accessible whenever you need something. I highly recommend this property. Stay here - you’ll love it"

  • Lakeside Living

"Silky sunsets reflected on a glass lake. A glass of wine and a leisurely spin around the lake on a flat bottomed boat. Out to see the Loons and their babies and the Bald Eagle on one of five islands in the lake. Ducks, frogs, turtles, blue-gills, muskies and wide mouth bass, wood peckers and blue jays dot the property. Every day there is another exciting discovery. On the second dock I walk out into a large area of water lilies and I listen at sunrise for the slap of a fish's tail on the water. At dawn, I sip a cup of coffee in the kitchen looking out towards the woods, a deer and her fawns look back over the grassy lawn and then amble away. This little piece of paradise is as lovely inside the house looking out at nature as it is outside exploring. A contemporary house in a rustic setting, it has all the conveniences of modern living but the privacy and peace of the Northwoods. That said, a large lawn and easy access to the lake made my nieces and nephews happy as they played outside. This house is designed on multiple levels so the teenagers found quiet spots to communicate on the internet with their friends and the younger children were able to explore the yard without too much interference from me as I listened from the kitchen to them at their games. A family of four adults and five children stayed here easily and the rest of my family (up to twenty for some meals) gathered for BBQ suppers. I am very excited about this property and will return again during 2017."
