"This is the third time we have stayed at The White Duck and we always enjoy the amenities that this place affords. From the three comfortable bedrooms, with bathrooms close by; to the skylights in most rooms of the house. Most of the restaurants are no more than 15 minutes from the front door, but if you wish to eat in, Nancy has supplied the home with all the cookware one would need to put on a major feed for the entire family. You will also enjoy the full wraparound deck which leads you to the two tier deck overlooking Lake Michigan. This year with the lake being especially high it felt as though you were sitting on a house boat as the lake was almost lapping at the foot of the deck stairs. Remember that this is the quieter side of Door Co. so it is easier getting around without the hassle of all the traffic one has to endure on the Bay side. You may be able to find a newer place with newer amenities, but it would be hard to find a place that would make you feel more at home."

"We had the BEST visit. The weather was very cooperative and we found the peace and quiet we were after. The house really is quite stunning and we had everything we needed and more. The location adjacent to the state park encourages walks through the forest or along the rocky shore. The sign of a great vacation is when you don't want it to end, and this spot seriously had that effect."
