  • Lovely lake, lovely house

"We stayed at this kangaroo lake house in August 2016 - It was our first trip to door county. We weren't sure what to expect but were so happy we stayed on the "qiet" side of the lake. The home has an incredible view to the water, and the water is soft and sandy and shallow. We brought our paddle boards and we all enjoyed paddle boarding all over the lake - It's very quiet. I think we only heard one or two boats all week! The fire pit is beautifully situated, and we had a great time star gazing and caught the persied meteor shower!!! The home itself is lovely - there is a large well equipped kitchen. We ate many of our meals out on the deck which has a big picnic table that could accommodate all of us. We used the bikes and the canoe that were available which was a very nice convenience to have. We also put together MANY of the puzzles and played lots of games (and watched the olympics on the wide screen tv.) . Best of all you are just a quick jaunt to the beautiful beaches and all the restaurants on the other side of thepeninsula! There is so much to do in door county and we found this quiet lovely lake house to be the prefect place to land after a busy day out and about in DC. Thanks to Lara and Jon for their hospitality!"

  • We had a fun-filled, action packed family vacation.

"We come up to Door County every summer to watch my father compete in the triathlon. It has turned into an annual, family reunion. This was by far the nicest place we've stayed. This year, we went to Cana Island, PC Junction, a fish boil, the Gilles Rock Maritime Museum and more! Staying at Eames Farm was such a treat. My son loved the bunk-beds and walking down the hill into town. My husband and I appreciated all of the amenities and the convenient location. We loved watching the sunset over the lake. Thanks for sharing your home with us."

  • Beautiful View of the Bay

"We have stayed at Parkview Beach Cottage before. We always stay in the main floor unit. It is very clean and comfortable. The bathroom has been updated with, a new sink, stool and shower. There are patio doors from the living room and master bedroom to a large deck with a great view of the bay and beach. The well equipped kitchen has eating space, dishwasher and full refrigerator. The second bedroom has twin beds and a stacked washer and dryer in one of the two closets. There is also cable, WIFI and off street parking. We always enjoy our stay here."

  • Nice Stay

"We stayed here for a weekend, and it was very enjoyable. It was perfect for what we needed, as we didn't spend much time there, as we were out and about quite a bit. My only compliant is that we didn't know that we needed to bring hand soap for the bathroom. It was nice being near the lake, even though it was too cool to use the boats and what not. Would stay here again."
