  • We'll Be Back!

"After our grown children from out of state returned home from our stay, they called to ask that we go back next year! We fell in love with the rustic charm and the expansive beach, a perfect place for our family -- space to roam but also places to gather. Our special family time was made even more special when our oldest son proposed to the love of his life -- a forever happy memory of Firefly Cottages!."

  • Pleasant, tranquil setting

"Spent a week at the cottage with my mom and small dog. The farm is beautiful and the cottage is quaint, immaculately clean and well stocked with everything you'd need. We enjoyed all of the little touches from decor to conveniences. Sitting outside -- both day and night -- was most enjoyable. We used the fire pit several times and enjoyed roasting marshmallows and making s'mores. Location and convenience to Egg Harbor and Fish Creek was perfect. In fact, all areas in DC were very easily accessible. I wish we would have allocated a day for Sturgeon Bay. Lots of great restaurants and shopping there. All in all, a wonderful experience!"

  • A perfect spring weekend with old friends

"We loved staying at this clean, beautiful cabin...we visited with a group of long-time friends (20+ years and we're only in our mid-20s!) and enjoyed a perfect spring weekend grilling out, sitting around the fire, stargazing, and having lazy mornings drinking coffee in the big, sunny kitchen. The owners were incredibly responsive and kind, and provided clear instructions and tons of helpful instructions for great places to see and visit. We're hoping to come back again next year for the same weekend! We liked that it was "off the beaten path" and not in a humming, touristy spot - it was quiet and tranquil and beautiful. Our only regret was that it was a little too cold to use the amazing screened in porch! An awesome spot and clearly well-loved and well cared for. We enjoyed adding to the guestbook, and reading about other's adventures, too!"
