  • Expected a great house, those expectations were far exceeded.

"Came up with a group of 6, everyone had their own bedroom and were very happy. House is delightful, with fridges everywhere it seems! The visitor guide was very helpful, and kitchen had all the tools necessary to cook. I did have a couple questions for Ted, and he answered them almost immediately via text/email, so that was much appreciated. Obviously we didn't get to check out the backyard due to all the snow, but you can tell it's absolutely beautiful there during the summer. Can't wait to go back."

  • Perfect!

"My family comes up north every summer for a week and this is the perfect place to stay! We had a total of eight adults and everyone loved it. The entire house makes you feel warm and comfortable. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and living rooms are well kept with great decorations. The yard is beautiful with a cozy fire pit. The lake view is also amazing with great swimming and fishing. We caught a handful of Pike, Bass, and even a Walleye! We definetly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for the complete Northwoods experience! Hopefully we stay again sometime soon."

  • Great location, comforts of home

"This cottage is just minutes from eagle river very convent with a lot of tourist stuff to do near by. The bedrooms are very small but we have small children so it was perfect for us. The kids played in the lake everyday which is shallow well past the pier making it ideal for little kids. The kitchen is well stocked and the appliances nearly brand new. The grill is fantastic - large with a adjustable grate to change the temperature. The fire pit is also large and beautiful. The sunsets were fantastic. As stated in another review the new bunk beds are sturdy. The only thing I didn't like was that the dresser and closet in the bunk bed room were full of sheets, blankets and odds and ends so we had to keep the kids clothes in their suitcases all week. Also it would be nice to have a small garbage can in the bathroom. The kids asked if we can comeback next year. Great vacation and great home."

  • Winter Wonderland!

"We stayed at Cranberry Castle between Christmas and New Year's with 5 families total and 11 children. We had a fabulous time! The house was spacious enough to fit our group and only 2 families had to share a bathroom. The kitchen is stocked with cutlery, pots and pans but bring your own spices, including salt and pepper. Our group brought extra toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags which was very helpful. The winter activities were perfect for our group. We skied at Brule mountain which was approximately 45 minutes away. We also went on a sleigh ride in Eagle River and went to the Nordic center for tubing and sledding in Minocqua. Brandon (the owner) and Roger (the caretaker) were extremely helpful to us and made sure all went smoothly with the rental house. We're hoping to come back next holiday!"
