"The best! We took our family, sons and their families, to this most beautiful, comfortable, well equip house on a frozen lake., we stayed 5 days, but all of us wish we had another week. We snowmobiles, played in the snow, and went on a sleigh ride in Eagle River. Our granddaughter who is engaged to a solider who is deployed, wrote a love note on the frozen lake to her solider. I would recommend this to any age group. We had a range age from 71 to 2. Love it! Hope we can do it again."

  • Cozy Cabin

"Our Stay was great. Hospitality was wonderful. The cabin was everything we expected, small, peaceful and full of character. The fact that it was right on the water made seem like we were floating on the lake. The only down fall of the entire trip was since it was off season, the owner had put the row boat away. Guess we should have expected that planning this trip off season. We just like doing these kinds of trips in the fall, when the weather is perfect! Other than that, we made all our nightly meals in the cabin, which included pan fried steaks, pan fried potatoes and steamed carrots the first night, a bacon, sausage and green pepper quiche for breakfast and a frozen pizza for dinner the second night! The best moments we had in the short time we were there, was fishing off the peer, waking up to the beautiful sun rises and the fact we could enjoy all of this with our puppy. We had the option to start a fire in the fire pit, but just ran out of time. We will definitely stay longer the next time we come! The other nice thing we took advantage of was the WiFi offered. Granted typically you don't go on vacation to use WiFi, but it was nice to have especially when trying to locate certain places of interest within the Eagle River area. One thing we didn't take advantage of was the cable TV. Since were only there two short days, we were traveling all over the area and enjoying what nature had to offer. We liked the fact that if the weather would have turned nasty we had that as an option, but we lucked out with beautiful weather while we were up there. I would recommend this to groups looking to stay in the Eagle River area (4-6 people) considering the price is a little high for just couples. With groups you can spread out the price a little easier, the only down fall is the privacy factor (open concept, one big room). This is perfect for a guy's trip, couples weekend or just a nice get away with your spouse/girlfriend or whatever! Mark is a great person to work with and is eager to tell you a story or two is you let him. So please enjoy your stay here."

  • Kathy and Tom

"We spent a week in early August at this lovely place! Outstanding view of the lake from the large cabin yard and deck. Four adults fit very comfortably with the 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. It was nice to have a boat landing on the property with the use of two piers for docking. The large sandy area between the docks would be an ideal spot for little ones to play in. We enjoyed floating on floats in this area as well. Especially enjoyed watching the eagle family and their young and the family of loons on various parts of the lake. We found that both the upper and lower lakes were relatively quiet. Just a beautiful area! All in all it was a great trip. We would highly recommend it."

  • Perfect!

"My family comes up north every summer for a week and this is the perfect place to stay! We had a total of eight adults and everyone loved it. The entire house makes you feel warm and comfortable. The bedrooms, bathrooms, and living rooms are well kept with great decorations. The yard is beautiful with a cozy fire pit. The lake view is also amazing with great swimming and fishing. We caught a handful of Pike, Bass, and even a Walleye! We definetly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for the complete Northwoods experience! Hopefully we stay again sometime soon."
