  • Multi-Family Stay

"This house was above and beyond our needs. The lake is great for boating. Even though there was no sand beach at the property, a short skip across the lake to the sand bar off the island gave tons of swimming to our little ones in a nice shallow sand bottom. The yard is significantly bigger than the pictures showed. Inside the house, it was renovated as shown. The house was great for multi-family with the layout, as it was like having two houses in one, with bathrooms, bedrooms, and living space on each floor we could get our space from each other when needed. You felt secluded, even though you were only 10 minutes from town. Would stay again."

  • Perfect for Vacationing Families

"Simply put, this home is everything a vacationing family could hope for...and more. Traveling from the Chicago area to relax in the northwoods and to see the fall colors, we noticed the landscape becoming more and more beautiful as we journeyed north. Our jaws dropped as we turned onto this home's tree-lined, curving street and we were surrounded by the colors of fall. It was stunning! Truly, the photos here don't do it justice...it's far more beautiful than we even imagined. The home was beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean, and stocked with the comforts of home. The view of the lake was breathtaking in the fall, and the home is ideally situated in a quiet location. The expansive lawn provides space for families to gather, play, stargaze, or relax by the lakeside firepit. A nearby marina (BoatSport on Route 70) has pontoons available at a very reasonable rental rate, so we enjoyed an unusually warm fall afternoon exploring the chain of lakes. We're so very grateful to the owners for sharing their home with us. We found ourselves sad to leave after our extended weekend here, and thinking about when we'd be able to return. This place is a gem, and this was a trip we'll remember for years to come."

  • Awesome!

"Loon Haven was amazing! We were there with our children and grandchildren and EVERYONE had a great time. The beach area is simply wonderful, the grandkids could swim and jump off the dock all day long - they never tired of it! Campfire area was lovely, having kayaks available a big plus, and the yard had so much room for our 2 year old grandsons to run and play - just to see those little legs go brought smiles to our face. The cabin was absolutely perfect with plenty of room for everyone and well stocked with everything you need. We saw deer everyday - eagles, loons, and geese. Cindy was great and saw to all our needs if needed. Thank you Cindy for a wonderful vacation we will definitely be back!"

  • Kathy and Tom

"We spent a week in early August at this lovely place! Outstanding view of the lake from the large cabin yard and deck. Four adults fit very comfortably with the 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. It was nice to have a boat landing on the property with the use of two piers for docking. The large sandy area between the docks would be an ideal spot for little ones to play in. We enjoyed floating on floats in this area as well. Especially enjoyed watching the eagle family and their young and the family of loons on various parts of the lake. We found that both the upper and lower lakes were relatively quiet. Just a beautiful area! All in all it was a great trip. We would highly recommend it."
