"We had a great time staying at this lovely home. We also rented the cottage behind this house for our daughter's family and that one was nice too. The house has many amenities you need, including A/C which was especially nice as it got hot when we were there. The lake is awesome, water very clear and sand bottom. We heard the loons every night and enjoyed a bonfire most nights. My husband and son got fish every day, Northern, Croppies, Bass, and Sunfish and I even caught a Northern!! I would definitely recommend this place."

  • Family Vacation

"We had a great week of fishing. Grandsons kept busy catching bass, northern, bluegills and walleye. It was so nice walking out the back door to the pier and jumping on the pontoon boat. The house was clean and served our needs to a tee. Will consider doing this again."

"10 of us had a great Christian Retreat easily accommodating all of our needs for a long weekend of fun, relaxation, great eats, worship, sightseeing... Incredible views from the family room of the lake with a fireplace! Haven't been here in the Summer but imagine the North Woods have to be stunning as they sure were in the Winter!! Big Property with plenty of bedrooms to accommodate big families or large group of friends. A must Do Place to Visit."

  • Lots to do for people of all ages. A gem in the northwoods.

"I searched and searched to find a place to take our first extended family vacation in ten years. We were looking for a place that would accommodate a variety of ages, interests and would keep us busy without leaving the property. We found it here at Zaugg's Resort. I found this property through VRBO however their webpage and Facebook page reassured my decision on booking this property. We were looking for a place on a beautiful lake with a beach for the kids to swim and play yet also a place where the men could do some serious fishing. Zaugg's was exactly what we were looking for. A fishing boat with motor is included for the serious fishermen yet the beautiful, sandy beach occupied with a peddle boat, paddle boards, kayaks, canoes and a swim raft kept everyone busy for days. Beach tether ball, the tennis court and basketball court were also a big hit with our family. We didn't find time to hike the trails or play beach volleyball but it was available. The chalet had plenty of room for our group of 14. We were close enough to enjoy time together but yet had plenty of space to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. The owners, Chuck and Pam, took great care of us and tended to any need we had. When we had an issue with our coffee pot, Pam showed up with a new one, talk about service. They took the time to make sure we knew all that was available to us. The view from our deck and our firepit area were breathtaking. Pam and Chuck have truly created a gem in the northwoods. They provided us a perfect setting for quality family time and we made memories that will last a lifetime. If you are at all considering this property I highly recommend that you take the time to check out their website and Facebook page."
