  • Rustic Northwoods Elegance!

"We just came back from a wonderful weekend spent @ Camp Edna on Star Lake. This has to be the warmest, most welcoming cabin rental in the Northwoods. Everything is here for a great stay. Beds were super comfortable, everything was very clean, bathrooms and kitchen nicely updated. The views of Star Lake from the cabin are stunning! If you want peace and quiet along with rustic, Northwoods elegance, this is the place for you!"

  • Winter Stay in the Northwoods

"This cabin is well equipped and gorgeous. Although we came in the winter, we were still able to enjoy the views of the frozen lake. The cabin itself is immaculate although for snowmobiles, it is a bit off the trail (2 miles). It is the perfect place for a weekend getaway and Dave and Teri were very informative and helpful when booking as we were trying to get a weekend with some snow! PI is a great town to easily access the Michigan Trail System as well as Wisconsin and more western trails. The bonus room is great to be able to come in and leave your snow gear without tromping through the house. With a little colder weather our stay would have been a perfect 10, but I give it a 9!"

  • Fantastic rustic cabin!

"Northern Memories is a great name for a great place! If you need a secluded place in the woods right on a lake. This is it! The cabin was very clean and very nice. We caught "keepers" right off the dock. Loons swam by and eagles flew past. Minocqua Brewery is great as is Dan's fudge! The communication with owner (David) was perfect too. He even mailed a forgotten jacket. We WILL be back! Thank You"

  • Largest Cabin I Ever Saw

"This past week my three adult children and their spouses plus one college age granddaughter had a wonderful time at "The Cabin". It is well laid out and so roomy the people who need alone time could have it. We used the fire pit every night and it was super with the permanent seating. When the family left we had some friends who arrived. They enjoyed it as much as the family. We couldn't do the bonfire at night so did it at cocktail hour. Was great then too. We also enjoyed Marli's Pub and Grill in Sayner. Went there twice for dinners. Fishing wasn't the best but two of us each caught a bass measuring 18 - 20". It was the biggest fish I ever caught. The cabin is exceptional regarding floor plan, cleanliness and furnishings plus Larry(the owner) is always there with an immediate response to all questions. My daughter had a great description of the location. She said when you get to the middle of nowhere you aren't quite there yet. Go a little bit further and you will love it. Dona M."
