  • Rustic Northwoods Elegance!

"We just came back from a wonderful weekend spent @ Camp Edna on Star Lake. This has to be the warmest, most welcoming cabin rental in the Northwoods. Everything is here for a great stay. Beds were super comfortable, everything was very clean, bathrooms and kitchen nicely updated. The views of Star Lake from the cabin are stunning! If you want peace and quiet along with rustic, Northwoods elegance, this is the place for you!"

  • Beautiful Northwoods retreat

"We enjoyed our time at this lovely cabin. It is cozy and rustic with modern conveniences such as central air, dishwasher, and laundry. The extra cottage was perfect for our daughter and granddaughters. The lake front is beautiful and private. It has easy access to biking, town, restaurants, and golfing, but you won't want to leave this peaceful place. Molly and Paul were very accommodating and gave prompt responses to any questions we had. We will certainly return to this charming Northwoods spot. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful place to relax, swim, fish, ski, watch loons and eagles, and enjoy the beauty and peace of being Up North."

  • Bucket list dream Vacation

"It has always been my dream to take my daughters, their husbands and children up there before I cast off for the great beyond. We rented their "Eagles Nest CABIN" it was more like an executive estate! Beautiful home, comfortable beyond reason fully stocked with everything except our personal needs. A row boat, pontoon boat, canoe and a couple of kayaks were available. The 9 of us ranged from 73 to 6 and had the time of our lives. Fishing was fantastic, caught 30+ northern pike many perch, bluegill & catfish and my 17 1/2 inch small mouth bass! weather beautiful. Older teens swam off the dock, little kids loved beach at Black Oak Lake. Night time was bonfire time with stories of the days adventures. The kids caught toads and frogs along with a garter snake and played with the fish that were too small to keep and let them all go at sunset. We sited many Eagles and hawks and the kids wanted desperately to pet a deer so on one day I took them to the zoo in St. Germain where they had their fill of animals to pet. No one wanted to leave . It is a month later and all everyone talks about is the fun we had here, going back and what the folks at Pinestone call "A CABIN". We are still shaking our heads about that one!"

  • Our First Time at Pinestone Crossing

"We have vacationed in the Northwoods for many years, but this was our first time staying in Land O Lakes and the Moose Lodge. The home is beautiful and well maintained. The grounds and watercraft were in excellent condition, and well used by us! It was great to have a laundry room in the home we stay in - we've used a Laundromat in the past, and that is inconvenient. The views afforded both by deck and by boat were awesome. We spent a lot of time in the screened gazebo, and bug free! The process of booking the rental with Jo, all the way through to getting our maintenance deposit returned, was simple."
