  • Beautiful Northwoods retreat

"We enjoyed our time at this lovely cabin. It is cozy and rustic with modern conveniences such as central air, dishwasher, and laundry. The extra cottage was perfect for our daughter and granddaughters. The lake front is beautiful and private. It has easy access to biking, town, restaurants, and golfing, but you won't want to leave this peaceful place. Molly and Paul were very accommodating and gave prompt responses to any questions we had. We will certainly return to this charming Northwoods spot. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful place to relax, swim, fish, ski, watch loons and eagles, and enjoy the beauty and peace of being Up North."

  • Amazing trip to the Northwoods!

"This was our first trip to the Northwoods, and it was everything we had hoped it to be. We arrived at the quaint cabin and found it to be as described; it was very clean, organized, and provided the necessary supplies for a comfortable visit. The surroundings were beautiful, and the sounds of nature were amazing (especially enjoyed to sound of the loons). We enjoyed swimming, fishing, boating, and simply relaxing on the piers and the screened in porch. I found myself truly enjoying the screened in porch with a good book, while looking out at the amazing view. We used the canoe and rowboat, and floated around the lake enjoying the scenery. Jeanette was very pleasant and ensured we had everything we needed to make our visit pleasant, they live right next door. We did a day trip to Bond Falls, MI to see the waterfalls and it was well worth the trip (only about 35 miles). The downtown of Eagle River is so cute, and we enjoyed exploring the shops and even went to the street dance on Thursday night. We had a wonderful dinner at Eagle Waters Resort, and would highly recommend it. Overall it was a wonderful trip and if you are looking for a place to go to get away from it all, I would highly recommend Eagle River and this cabin."

  • AMAZING LAKE VIEWS

"Our family enjoyed our week at The Station at Plum Lake very much and would highly recommend it! We loved the panoramic view of the lake from almost every room, especially the kitchen-dining-great room area. That room had plenty of room for 11 of us and two dogs. The weather was so great, we didn't even spend time in the lower level that had a bar, pool table, ping pong table, and more. When we weren't in or on the lake kayaking, biking, hiking, fishing, sunset cruising, paddle boarding or just playing in the sandy bottom shoreline, we were on the large deck enjoying the views and lake breeze. We also enjoyed the fire pit almost every night and couldn't get enough of the sound of the loons. The eagles would soar right above the deck and dive for fish in front of the pier - a real treat to watch! Debra was so great to work with when we planned our trip - and we appreciated that very much! We also enjoyed Wildwood Wildlife Park in Minocqua and dinner at The Thirsty Whale - both family favorites in the Northwoods."

  • Gorgeous Property !

"We wanted to begin the tradition of vacationing with our adult children and their spouses. The Razorback Retreat was the PERFECT place for that. The setting could not have been more beautiful, and the house was truly impressive. It was very clean, beautifully maintained, and well furnished. There were eight adults in our group, and we had more than enough space. We enjoyed our time together but were able to find some space for private time also. I cannot begin to find the words to express the beauty of this property. The floor to ceiling windows brought the outside in. The kitchen was huge and completely stocked for cooking. It was obvious that the owner takes great pride in his property and was available to help if needed. We spent the week at the lake canoeing, kayaking, boating, swimming, fishing and relaxing on the dock. The lake was gorgeous and so peaceful. It was awesome to watch the eagles soaring overhead; watching the looms, ducks, and deer, and listening to the bullfrogs sing their songs. We ended each day together at the fire pit. We had no complaints and our expectations were far exceeded. We hope to make The Razorback Retreat a summer tradition!"
