  • Nice break

"Loved the stay while we were there , lovely view of the lake and the loons. Hosts are eagerly ready to make sure your stay is a great one. Only down side was the weather and the Wisconsin bird ( Mosquito's) in full force already. but neither one is in control of the owners, will make reservations again next year ! Thank you Ken and Linda"

  • AMAZING LAKE VIEWS

"Our family enjoyed our week at The Station at Plum Lake very much and would highly recommend it! We loved the panoramic view of the lake from almost every room, especially the kitchen-dining-great room area. That room had plenty of room for 11 of us and two dogs. The weather was so great, we didn't even spend time in the lower level that had a bar, pool table, ping pong table, and more. When we weren't in or on the lake kayaking, biking, hiking, fishing, sunset cruising, paddle boarding or just playing in the sandy bottom shoreline, we were on the large deck enjoying the views and lake breeze. We also enjoyed the fire pit almost every night and couldn't get enough of the sound of the loons. The eagles would soar right above the deck and dive for fish in front of the pier - a real treat to watch! Debra was so great to work with when we planned our trip - and we appreciated that very much! We also enjoyed Wildwood Wildlife Park in Minocqua and dinner at The Thirsty Whale - both family favorites in the Northwoods."

  • Gorgeous Property !

"We wanted to begin the tradition of vacationing with our adult children and their spouses. The Razorback Retreat was the PERFECT place for that. The setting could not have been more beautiful, and the house was truly impressive. It was very clean, beautifully maintained, and well furnished. There were eight adults in our group, and we had more than enough space. We enjoyed our time together but were able to find some space for private time also. I cannot begin to find the words to express the beauty of this property. The floor to ceiling windows brought the outside in. The kitchen was huge and completely stocked for cooking. It was obvious that the owner takes great pride in his property and was available to help if needed. We spent the week at the lake canoeing, kayaking, boating, swimming, fishing and relaxing on the dock. The lake was gorgeous and so peaceful. It was awesome to watch the eagles soaring overhead; watching the looms, ducks, and deer, and listening to the bullfrogs sing their songs. We ended each day together at the fire pit. We had no complaints and our expectations were far exceeded. We hope to make The Razorback Retreat a summer tradition!"

"What a wonderful time we had. We have been vacationing with our kids and grandkids(now) for over 40 years. This was one of the best places we have been to. The house was well stocked and large enough for the 15 of us. The kids enjoyed kayaking, fishing, swimming, tubing and skiing. At night we had campfires. It was so quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed watching the loons. Ken & Linda were very helpful. Everything agreed they would like to come back next year. Thanks again for a geat vacation."
