  • Relaxing vacation spot

"Very clean and with every amenity you might need. The leaves were just beginning to change, making for some beautiful views from the Adirondack chairs. Unfortunately, the fishing was not great, but there had been several cold snaps before we got there, so we expected it. Did see lots of wildlife in the area; this lake home is very secluded and private. We enjoyed our downtime and relaxation - perfect opportunity to recharge and a perfect place to do that!"

  • Great family vacation home

"We've been renting since 2010. It's always been very clean with lots of blankets and cozy throws, a fully outfitted kitchen, plenty of outdoor chairs, both a gas & charcoal grill and a nice dock. The swimming area is perfect for young children and the kayaks are great for the older kids & adults as well. The newly remodeled kitchen and living room are wonderful. We love it so much in 2016 we are renting for 2 weeks. Thanks to owners Greg & Linda for wonderful memories."

  • Vacation in Paradise

"This was our first time renting a home and it was such a great experience we will have to come again. The home is clean and well stocked with everything needed to simply enjoy your vacation. The lake is beautiful and the sunsets are incredible. The people in the town of Tomahawk are very friendly and welcoming, you can easily find more then enough to keep busy or simply lay back and enjoy the view."

  • Great Spot for a Large Diverse Group

"We rented out this great cabin for a bachelorette party weekend with about 22 people. The group was mid 20's all the way up to 60's. This cabin offered many different areas to sleep which was nice for people who wanted a quiet night or people who wanted to stay up late! Having two kitchens was also helpful for cooking and storing all of the food/drinks. Everyone really enjoyed the size of the cabin and all the amenities the Ellen had to offer. The only draw back to this cabin was the water/lake. The shore line was pretty much unswimable. We were there during some really hot days in August and the lake was pretty cruddy to swim in. Some girls took floats out but said it wasn't much better in the middle either. However, there is nothing that the own can do about that! There are some close by local bars to go to and the town does offer some grocery stores and gas stations. If you forget anything a trip to the store is not far away. We would all come back and stay again. Ellen was a great host and was able to answer all of our questions. THANKS!"
