  • Great place to stay on Madeline Island

"We were a group of 7 women on our annual weekend on the Island and while we were apprehensive if this house would fit us all it worked out perfectly. The kitchen is tiny, so we should of prepared a bit better for that (the house we normally stay in has 2 full size, this house has one apt. size fridge), however everything was fully equipped, dishes, etc. It was nice to have the internet which hasn't been included in previous homes I've rented on the island. All the beds were super comfortable and ever member of our group commented on it. Its a bit of a drive from town if you are planning on going out but close to the town park. We would stay again and would recommend this house to anyone!"

  • Fabulous and Peaceful Island Vacation

"Our stay at Sheila's condo was fabulous. She provided a great deal of info before we arrived on what to bring with us and how to prepare for our stay. The condo was wonderfully equipped with plenty of towels, bedding, kitchen equipment, and much more. The view from the front window to the water was great, and we truly enjoyed the slow pace of the island. The library is a must see, as is a visit to the museum, the coffee shop, the bakery, and the Island Market. Plan to do some cooking and bring some food along. The few restaurants on the island have sporadic hours, but the food is great when they are opened. We will definitely stay here again. It was perfect for our family of four!"

  • Nice relaxing weekend getaway

"We were very happy with the cabin. All the information we needed was provided, (phone numbers, check out instructions, etc.) The path to the river was so inviting. We spent every morning sitting in the porch with our coffee watching for wildlife, which we saw one morning when a bear came to inspect the smell of breakfast cooking. Love the sky lights in the upstairs bedrooms. I would bring a DVD player next time. It does kind of echo with no window treatments to absorb sound, so late sleepers might have a hard time getting in their ZZZs."
