  • Everything you could ask for and more!

"Our family has been vacationing here for the last four years. We have never had an issue or complaint. The house is exactly as pictured and described. It is always clean, ready, stocked with anything we may need, and has plenty of room. I can't say enough about the hosts. They are caring, friendly, and available if needed. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay. The grandchildren love swimming on the raft, fishing off the pier, kayaking, and paddle boating. The lake is never real crowded making it ideal for water sports. Taking the pontoon for a ride is always enjoyable and typically means a trip to Dairy Queen and a stop at the light house for a swim. Scenic parks with waterfalls, Hayward, and Duluth are all close. We've made memories here that will last a lifetime. We just returned and are already making plans for next summer's stay. Can't wait!"

  • Comfy

"Enjoyed a nice fall weekend at the Eagles Nest. No wasted space in the main living and kitchen/dining area. Worked great to have our kids wrapped around the counter at meal time. While cozy, the beautiful vaulted ceiling makes it feel bigger than it is. Bedrooms are small but serve their purpose. Very nice deck overlooking the back yard, but views of the lake are tough from what would be a near perfect vantage point. Trees at the waters edge keep me from giving the property the fifth star, but some may actually enjoy the privacy it creates as well. Nice dock area and having the boats on site is a huge plus. We didn't use the power boat (though the kids begged) but our two oldest spent a lot of Saturday afternoon in the kayaks. Only other con to mention is that laundry isn't the most convenient, especially at night. But it it is still way better than a laundry mat or coin machines at a hotel. Convenience to Duluth area is another major plus. We would definitely stay again in the future."

  • Awesome!

"The cabin was amazing! Everything we needed was in the cabin. Our family had a wonderful weekend, and will definitely recommend it to anyone. We had more than enough room for nine people!"
